I spoke with Mick about it, I think it works out cheaper to buy a new unit rather than have them 'serviced' this wouldn't be a problem if it was 24 months down the line as I would expect this.
Problems I have personally had was knocking however speaking with Mick I don't think the same could...
Spoke with them, they wasn't sure if they could do H&R.
Spoke with H&R direct along with other specialists. I think they are good for scrap in all honest Chi. Luckily they cost me nothing but not sure it'd be wise to buy brand new knowing in a year or two if something does go wrong I'd be in...
I have a set of H&R's sitting in the garage which need a refurb however can't find anyone to do it. This makes me extremely reluctant to spend £900+ on a set which I'm finding near impossible to 'service'.
Read a lot of reviews about the KW 1 being 'soft' can't find many reviews for the KW 2's...
I am going off the idea of the Bilsteins, personal experience they was OK, maybe set up incorrectly but felt soft for 'fast' road let alone track use. After my search spax also have good and the odd bad review but not much on the rear 'coilover' unit mainly the basic RSX kits.
This is another...
You say that but on my previous V7 they knocked after 8 months. BC didn't want to know either...
For the Evo there is also a 50/50 split good vs bad opinions.
I know Mick would help if that was to happen on the Clio though.
A few of the people I spoke to who had the garage next to me at Oulton were saying they had/going with BC. However I've heard and read so many bad things about them. This was on a totally different type of car though.
I do like the idea of the BC and them being adjustable really is ideal. I...
Mine wasn't left on the car anywhere near 'drying' time, however it wasn't exactly 20 seconds either.
I'll know more when I attempt to clean it again tomorrow.
Been searching all week and I'm no more closer to determining a set. Looking to purchase some in the bear future...
Firstly Fred mentioned that the Bilstein are a 'nice' kit (performance per £) so I have been looking at them, but a lot of sites/ reviews mention they are a little on the 'soft'...
To be honest I cant see it being that?
Is there a chemical that would make it do this if the bottle was in direct sunlight? Maybe could have gone 'off' while cleaning the car? Cant see it being the drying of it as surely it would be more in a circular pattern rather than streaks going down...
Mine has done the same, especially on the paintwork.
Going to to give it another thorough cleaning tomorrow hoping it'll remove it.
Not sure I'd purchase it again after this...
In house mapping but only started in 2009? To be honest I don't think mapping is just as easy as adding fuel and ignition timing.
Stick to a well known mapping company and doubt you'll go wrong.
Thats my opinion, they may be great but personally I'd take it to a known company...
You need to push towards the screen, ideally with the palm of your hand. Failing that a bit of a bang with your palm and penetrating spray should do it.
They've always made a 'knocking' noise from day one of me owning it. I just thought it was down to a) being pretty low b) having cheap coilovers fitted. Only noticed it today, wasn't like that last week.
Yes I did read that thread, no this is when the wheels are straight, just concerned as surely that means there is 10mm shortfall somewhere in the suspension?
