I think the main problem is that it's French. Mine makes a right racket on the motorway, mostly wind noise but with a fair share of engine and exhaust too. My old Polo was so quiet in camparisson and a bit older. Merde!

I got Bosch ones recently and they are muckin fagic. You can also see the Bosch written on the top of them from the drivers seat, makes that £30 a little easier to live with!

Handle still needs to be used, there is one on each side at the bottom of the backrest. It tilts the seat forward (not enough room to get in and out from the back) then moves forward creating enough room. Pics later as my car is at home, sleeping.
