I've got an air feed to the lower grill, and i dont think my pipe is that long, so that should be plenty for what you need.
I think the pipe used is brake ducting, and its reinforced to keep it open. You will also need the bell mouth, and two large jubilee clips.
The route i took was to take...
LOL, i've had a few people at work ask me what thats for recently.
When i say its a cold air feed for the induction kit, they look at me a bit blank, as if to say "i have no idea what you are talking about"
It does stand out nicely, and i was thinking of spraying it black or blue, but i...
How about bowling down riverside in norwich?
Could meet in the Big W car park like all the chavs etc, then walk through to the bowling ally.
Do it after pay day though, so that gives people time to arrange stuff, and no excuses of people (me) being skint, lol.
Yeah but the meets he organises seem to be in cambridge all the time.
I think perhaps we should organise something with the Norwich/Norfolk, and maybe even suffolk lot.
Perhaps one sunday afternoon or something.
I wanted to test my alarm the other day, so sat very still in the car for a minute or two, and it worked fine. If i moved before at least 1.30mintues was up, it wouldnt sound the alarm, but as you found, would just make the light go mental.
I also heard that. Must be a rumour going about or something.
I'll leave it for now then, until the car wont move cause the clutch isnt there anymore, lol.
I hate people that flash their lights at you when you overtake them. Now i like to think im quite a sensible driver, so only overtake when i know its safe to do so. I dont cut in sharpe either, so why do people feel the need to flash their lights just cause i overtake them.
As for people...
I think my clutch maybe getting rather low, as the biting point is very high on the pedal.
Im fairly confident with car mechanics, and would get my brother to help, as he knows what he is doing.
Where is the best place to buy a new clutch, and how much? Is there anything else that should be...
Glad to see you got them sorted at last. I can only imagine it is/was a caliper problem, as my discs and pads were on their last legs, and i mean last legs, as the pads fell apart when i took them off. But even then they still would lock the wheels if applied hard enough.
With new pads and...
Personally, i'd snap it up at that price if you have the cash. Especially as you're running a 1.8 with a 1.4 exhaust. The power increase should be very noticable.
As fred says, they are good exhausts. Not much in it between mongoose and magnex (i was looking at both a couple of weeks back) I went for the magnex in the end, as i got one nearly new for £80.
If you have been offered it cheap, then get it on the car!
I like the look of the Mintex front setup he sells. £199 for complete set. But i've heard that drilled and grooved discs can crack after some heavy use. Is this true?
What a bunch of tossers! Im so glad my car is out of warranty. Any work that needs doing on my car now, will be completed by myself, or GDI for services etc.
what colour is the light?
personally i'd say if its misfiring then dont use the car unless you really have to.
Get it down to renault and get them to plug the computer in. I think they charge about £35 to just look at it unless its under warranty, but seeing as yours is "modified" i doubt...
Getting a CAF to the front grill really isnt that hard
I did scrape some skin off my knuckles trying to fit it, but other than that it was fairly easy to do. The only problem i have with it all is there isnt really enough room at the filter end for the CAF to sit nicely on the front, as the...
I've used the Auto glym sealant, and was very pleased with the results. Using that with the autoglym resin polish is a very good combination imho especially if you are a polishing newbie. Put it on thin, using soft clean cloths, constantly swapping the cloth about so you use a different part...
The difference is though, with a few choice mods to the Meg it will blow the clio out of the water for speed, seeing as its a turbo. So much more responsive to MOD's.
ah, well why didnt you say that, lol.
I think the bore size is about 72mm, if you check the hillpower website im fairly sure it will say what bore the 90 degree bend is. :D
Personally, id just get the hillpower bend, as it has the little bit of pipe that comes off and goes to some sensor.
As for cleaning the BMC, take it apart (its easy to do, just unscrew it all and the ends slide out). then just get some sort of brush and clean it, or an air compressor to blow...
firstly i have no idea what you mean by UCH
However, why not just locate where the noise comes from, then get a screwdriver, and whilst trying to remove the speaker, accidently stab the screwdriver through it, lol.
I saw a few over the weekend too.
Saw a silver 172 mk2 in the train station carpark thursday night.
Im sure i saw a few more, but cant remember where, lol.
Well if you had some self control, you would be seeing much better MPG out of the 182. but as you say you cant drive it slow, then get a diesel. Using the price as an excuse is crap, as you can pick up a nice diesel for £8k. And if you are worried about the price of the car in a few years, then...
