LOL at this isnt a dating line. Sure ;)
But around where i live, i tend to see younger girls driving clios, even the sport models.
And 9 times out of 10 they are always really fit!
Where do these girls hide in the evenings?
www.autopia.com i think is your best bet. Yes its america, but its still cheaper than what you can buy them in this country. I looked about when i was getting one, and the cheapest i could see them in the UK was over £200.
Mine cost me £100, but i didnt have to pay shipping, as my dads mate...
I'd love to get some of those pads, but money is tight at the moment, so standard ones will be going on for now.
Thanks for the advice edde, i need to pop in renault anyway.
Is that the sort of thing they have in stock?
How much am i looking at for standard front brake pads?
Mine are far too low at the moment, that they are vibrating through the pedal
Gonna get new ones at the weekend. Will i be ok to get them from halfrauds? or would you reccommend getting them from renault.
I'd like upgraded...
If its totally standard, then yes i'd say that was too much. Even at dealer prices.
Look in the for sale section, bound to be one in there for sale. I mean there was one a week or so ago which was fully track prep'd and tuned, and that was going for about £9k.
I think i'd be inclined to get the locks and ignition changed with new keys. Whats to stop the guy finding the keys, then coming and stealing it back or something.
Poor lad,
Tell him the best way to look at p**n and not get caught. Then just tell his mum to install something like norton internet security and that will stop him looking.
That way, they are both happy.
Ah that could be different then. When i had my 1.2 i paid £190 for the first service at 18k miles. And the car did feel like a new car again, so i cant complain at the work done. I just wouldnt want them working on the cup, as i've spoken to the sales man, and he often talks about how he has...
i think its healthy banter. me and my mate always do it down the pub. im always telling him he got the slow version.
its just a bit of fun, as at the end of the day there is f**k all in the performance between any of the renault sport range, so its all down to personal preference as to what...
Mine is a 52 cup if that makes any difference, so one of the early ones.
But defo no fag lighter, just a little plastic cap that says 12v on it, lol. Doesnt matter to me, as i just use my normal lighter.
The interior light i can turn on without opening the door though. And as i said, i didnt...
I'd agree with fred on the fact that a specialist service is worth more than a renault monkey stamping your book.
When mine is due a service, i shall be booking it in to GDI. Its a bit further than my local garage (i live in norwich), but i personally think its worth it, to know that my car...
I think the 172 cup was 70kg lighter, which is effectively a small passenger. Im 85kg and thats 13.5 stone roughly, so that gives you an idea of the weight loss.
the cup is very basic though, even more so than the dynamique versions of the clio. they dont have auto lights or wipers, it doesnt...
I just got my cup, obviously second hand. And to be honest i dont miss having toys/leather etc. It makes it less hard to modify it with bucket seats and stuff like that, as if i had leather i wouldnt want to take it out.
Plus i also prefer the looks of the cup with the wheels and the spoilers...
jesus! it must take you ages to clean your car if it takes you that long with a clay bar.
it takes me about 10 minutes to do the entire car with mine. i wash the car, then get some clean warm soapy water, use that with the clay bar, paying extra attention to sill and bumpers. i then get more...
I dont know if Matt can do it or not, but i did see an advert on ebay the other day from someone saying they can unlock any OEM stereo so that it didnt have a code or something.
Might be worth looking for.
Not sure how much it was.
If i was to just get some laquer and spray the bump strips on the cup, would they look ok like the rest of the car, or would i need to spray them with coloured paint first?
If you want to polish your zorst, then a tin of silvo from your hardware store will work a treat.
I used to use it on my old car. As its great at getting rid of tar/soot etc and leaves the exhaust sparkly clean!
Do renault keep a record of the cars they service?
By that i mean on a main database? So if my car was serviced at a garage that wasnt my local one, would my local garage be able to tell me that the service was done etc, and what work was carried out?
Reason i ask is that my book hasnt been...
will they bolt straight onto a 172 then? Or will some work be required to match it or something?
What gains can you expect from the manifold, if you were to put it with a de-cat and full magnex system?
Well dont expect the clio to be anywhere near as good as the audi. It will however probably put a nice grin on your face when you are blasting down the country lanes.
I dont own a 182, but a 172 cup, and i love it everytime i get in it.
The build quality isnt the best, but its all part of...
