Yeh I noticed that when using a mates iphone the other day. Wouldn't really bother me though. I meant more like buying the iphone would save me buying a touch or something as 2gb isn't enough for my music!
Works out cheaper though, plus I've had my current phone (k850i) almost 2 years and it doesn't bother me. Plus I'd be perfectly in time for the next next iphone ;)
To make it a fair comparison I'd have to add the orange cover for £6 and 500mb internet allowance for the samsung which would...
Basically I'm in a dilemma between 2 phones/contracts. Seeing as I don't know a massive amount about either, I thought I'd post it up here!
iPhone 3GS on o2
Cost wise for the 16gb on a 24 month contract would be £90 for the phone, then £35 a month for the contract plus £10 for insurance...
Re: someph-ing different...........
I've got a boot one, but with the spoiler it's pretty unstable, and I was never keen on hooking it onto the lip of the top of the tailgate.
With the rapid fit kit is the idea that you can whip em off pretty easily? i.e. you can just fit the whole roof rack...
Re: someph-ing different...........
Ooooh! I've been looking into getting a bike rack for the clio, sick of chucking muddy bikes in the back! Plus they pull on the harnesses lol.
Out of interest did you look into racks for the boot?
Car looks great btw, really like the interior!
Step 1 is ok, but there's better products around. As said, the other 2 arn't worth the hassle.
Wash, clay, wash, dry, carlack nano care, lsp. Job done ;)
As above really, a pro will have overheads such as insurance and advertising, hence why they cost more than a 'hobbyist'.
£8 an hour is a reasonable rate if done b a 'non pro'.
Re: iPhone Software 3.0 - Out 17/6 & iPhone 3GS - Out 19/6
Ah right cheers. Was thinking of pre-ordering from cpw, then taking out insurance from o2, but if you could get it cheaper online, then I'd just buy the phone through the o2 site.
Re: iPhone Software 3.0 - Out 17/6 & iPhone 3GS - Out 19/6
Not sure if this has been discussed elsewhere but is the o2 insurance the best to go for? Will they be doing it for £7.50 online (instead of £10) as they do with the 3G?
Also, what time will the 3GS be available to buy off the o2...
Powerflex dogbone mount, 35 quid and improves the gearbox feel.
Carbon lorraine pads too, big improvement over a standard setup for what is a relatively small cost.
Re: iPhone Software 3.0 - Out 17/6 & iPhone 3GS - Out 19/6
Probably as they know if they did there would be loads of 3G's for sale on the bay etc, which would reduce the chance of them selling their stock, plus it'd kill the value of them!

Think the highlight of the compass is more to do with the GPS knowing which direction you're facing, as tbh 99% of the population never use a compass!
Anyone found any examples of the video quality? Couldn't find any on the apple site.
FINALLY! Looks like the 16GB on the 34 quid one for 24 months is the best bet.
For those who have bought one before around the release date, is it best to try and get one from the store or just order online?
Cobra Imola S in mine, super comfy, never ached after any long journey. Nice and supportive but not too deep so that they're a b**ch to get in and out of!
Fitted some carpet in the rear last night, really pleased with it, looks loads tidier!! Special thanks to 1PBY for helping out late last night lol
Rough template made:
Fitted :)
Just needs a bit of wood to cover the wheel well, and some velcro or something to hold it down a bit better in...
Excellent work! The colour looks awesome once corrected
If you use something like an sfx1 and a polish with a fair bit of cut you can bring those side strips up quite nicely!
