Yeah as a weekend car I would rather have a used z3m. If a v6 was an easy car to use everyday I’d be really tempted. I think for a mid engined v6 clio, £21k is quite cheap.

A brand new v6 255, I am told you can get nearly 7k off the dealer price for a Renault sourced UK car. I saw it in the cup blue colour and haven’t stopped thinking about it since although I’d prefer black.

I ask because supposedly there are huge discounts to be had on the v6 255 so I’m slightly tempted however do I need to keep a 172 for everyday use and a v6 for weekend fun. Not bothered about the boot space, just whether its driveable and durable enough to withstand the daily grind.

No do not take your car for anything unless its really serious. Get things like that done at the service perhaps. Maybe im talking out of my ass but there arent many good dealers so you want to try and keep the car away from them for as long as poss.

Also the base rate is gonna be near 10% by next year so probably not a good time to venture into the property market.

Get the evo decatted. Gives it a better noise and releases some performance all for around £70.

I think you have to own one of these rally sl*gs once in your life regardless of the loss maybe twice if it includes the focus cosworth when it arrives. Surely ferraris depreciate in the tens of thousands anyway, an evo probably a few grand. I think hes made a bloody good choice of an evo.

Stay away from the snooper s5r, thinking it would be cheaper and with no subscription charges. I made the mistake of buying it and its totally useless. Makes loads of false alerts and when it is working it doesnt give you enough time to slow. Worst detection so far "K BAnd radar" voice alert...
