    I must agree with @Coops Mk1 @1985michael182 imo the MK1 was a much better base, I loved mine (and was disappointed once I had owned the phase 1 for a while (I think I even mention that early on in this thread). Indeed was much less snappy and predictable, could play with the back end on it...

    Pointless anyways imo, all that money and it doesn't gain you a massive amount of power over and above a cammed/ITB'd lump. I know for sure I will never bother, I will just keep it external and if ever needed just bolt everything over to another engine.

    Ha, trying to prevent damage... a bit stupid isn't it as its going to be skimming the road shortly (however I am exactly the same...ha). When I bolted mine up and torqued up all the bolts to the correct specs the powdercoat on the wishbone-arch braces cracked.... doh
