I get the panel make-up would be fine, and I get that it is lighter than standard, but lets face it most are changing for looks....
But most are likely to still be running brake lines and resi back there so would need heatshield (therefore covering it up)
My windows were the very first set they made for the clio... what is strange also is I have moved all around the country and now live about 10min walk from them
I know exactly what you mean with regards to the doors and the aperture, i felt exactly the same. I decided to trim mine back but you do have to be careful as this is where the skins are bonded - i would advise you put some more bond between them if possible.
i was unaware that ACW did...
Renault sport Clio Phase 1 172
Probably the best looking of the original Renault Sport Clio's? (well I am biased).
I had a couple of requests for these recently and believe I have almost worked up all of the phase 1 172 colours now.
*It isn't a conscious decision to move to a grey...
Citroen Saxo
As @Donny_Dog said above he got in contact with interest to illustrate his Saxo VT? Not only for 1 print, but 3... here are the other 2...
UPDATE:
The ECU has been removed and packaged up and is on the way to SCS Delta.
I also had a package from Demon Tweeks turn up, my rear view mirror and my rain light.
Seems to be some price variations in the mirrors but went for the cheapest as couldn't really see there being many differences...
UPDATE:
Have spoken with SCS Delta today (that is the company that split from Specialist Components) and they think it shouldn't be too much of an issue.
They think that a track has burnt on the ECU circuit board. They think that when the main feed to the ECU peeked and blew the fuse it would...
UPDATE:
The car has been sat on charge since sunday and is now showing decent voltage in the battery. Concerned it could of been a lack of fuel I stuck 10ltrs of Esso supreme in there. Knowing that it had fuel and the battery was good I looked at turning the car on.
Power was good, but the fan...
UPDATE
It is about time there was some progress on this. Literally nothing has happened on it since I moved, been a bit busy with decorating and childcare.
But the start of 2021 has kick-started me a little, there are a few little jobs that need doing to line it up for an MOT in spring so I need...
Would be great to replicate the race car in an illustration. When you are ready give me a shout.
Thank you Phill, looking forward to seeing them up in the office.
Sponsorship
Chris from Beaniesport got in contact with me earlier in the year with regards to helping design the livery for his championship race car (as seen above).
I have known Chris for quite a while and know how hard he has worked to get Beaniesport the reputation it deserves, that is why I...
Bespoke commissions
I also take on bespoke commissions this may for when someone wants something a bit more special, this can be for editorial use like magazine covers or like this large scale wall graphic for Ellani Cars . So please also get in-touch if you have something like this in mind
I have been on the forum a little too long (about 16/17 years) have owned multiple clio's and have been building one for about the past 8-10 years so I am not here to pull a fast one... ha.
I am however posting a bit of a shameless plug. (There was a previous thread, but since starting 21ten...
Didn't know they did thermo now.
I had the original clio kit from them way back when they very first started (a sponsorship thing when I was on Fastcar, that is whats on the Clio).
Weirdly I have now moved just down the road from them.... I need to pop back and say hello
