I did mine with a sponge and a small detailing brush mate did take ages tho

I was recommended car pro pearl by some members on here I went through all the steps and clay mit across with plenty of water then did two applications and have come up like brand new

No problem mate I know social distancing is a thing but that’s a bit far lol good luck and keep us updated on how you get on. Bear in mind the lack of low down torque can be sorted with a decent remap which makes them more responsive at lower revs

Where are u from mate ? I have polysbushed the whole car replaced brakes suspension springs calipers had belts done some mods and a map at 190bhp ur welcome to have a go in mine and guaranteed it would change your opinion being in a well sorted Clio 👍

This !!! A good well cared for Clio will be good to drive against a dog of one which will feel shite. There are plenty of us on here with good cars and enjoy them. I would drive a few mate and possibly a 172 cup to feel a range

Makes perfect sense mate and you have done the right thing , ep3 all a bit common and seen their day mine was 245bhp and amazing I regretted every bit of selling it the one you have chosen more desirable and those engines are fantastic vtec so strong on a looked after engine.

Fair point mate exactly the position I am in waiting on booking mine in for a low boost conversion which has been put on hold until all this s**t clears

Take em down the local pub I am sure covid 19 will sort the mould out!!! As mentioned above it’s not a matter of cleaning it off it’s removing the source to stop it returning a specialist cleaner or disinfectant should sort it for you good luck 👍

My car leads a cherished life mate it’s cared for and the engine is strong else I don’t think as u say I would consider it, your right tho it’s how it’s driven and cared for which will depend on the problems

Fair enough pal I think we all have good and bad experiences I have used them for years and always been really good with me and the Clio, I may well have been subjected to a bit of unessassry work lol but most do when I have had other cars at other garages they have done a lot work...

Thanks mate at the price for a drive in drive out service mapped I am really happy, it’s the other end of the country from me but prepared to make the journey to get the job done right. It’s where I will go for I think for sure Andy has been helpful via email
