Only a small update, last weekend I stripped the old tyres off the alloys and bought some spigot rings for them, just got to get some tyres sorted then they can go on until I decide to refurb them, also the A/C wasn't as cold as I thought it should be so I've done a regas for now but I imagine...

I went to the Yanks weekend at Shakespeare County Raceway today as its just down the road from me, stumbled across Cub. and his mate while I was there with a tidy looking mustang, there was also a couple of sports kicking around the place with cs stickers in. Anyway here's some of the better...
They definatly looks good on Monaco, what's yours lowered on?
I think they will definatly be refurbed and used daily now.
I've been offered some slightly used 195/50 road legal track tyres for £20 each from a local Motorsport company so hopefully I can get these on soon. :D
Its currently on cooksports with cup shocks but my only concern was that the wheels may look too small compared to 16" and I don't really want coilovers as I drive some pretty bad roads to work every day.
So I picked these up the other week off eBay for £26, they were originally going to be my track wheels but after test fitting today I'm not sure weather to refurb and use them as road and track as I quite like them, they're ATS DTC superlights 7x15 et35. Also would be good if anyone has some...
ah in that case then cooksports might not be for you, I'd say there's at least an inch gap on the front and slightly less on the rear.
I only went for springs to keep the comfort side of things but with the added benefit of better handling, I'll grab a side on for you and you can see for yourself.
I couldn't believe it myself! I put a £50 max bid in before work this morning checked eBay after work to find I'd won them.
The center caps aren't to my liking but I can hardly complain.
Today I did a gearbox oil change using some Fuchs sintofluid, also I won some alloys on eBay with the intention of using them as track wheels, after researching they appear to be ATS dtc superlights 15x7, not bad for £26 :o

Gives you more room to move about and see what your doing, I've found when working on your back it can restrict the amount you can move, it's not such a hard job with axle stands and a jack just the little bolts that hold the inners in place can be a little tricky to get to.
I changed my arb bushes for powerflex ones and it took me about 30mins with the use of a ramp, that was for inner & outer. They're pretty easy to do if you have the right tools.
Few pics with the cooksports on, this is with no spacers & 205 tyres.
