Its either restrictive or it isnt. It doesn't become less restrictive on a standard engine, it just becomes less noticeable.
I was running a IK and exhaust at the time when i fitted mine. It made a noticeable difference probably because it was in conjunction with the other 2 mods, yes. Didnt...
Agree but to be fair it does say on Ktec's main website for this package 12 - 15 bhp.
Not everyone knows what mods get what power. You don't have to be a Clio expert to want to mod a car :)
Set of cams and a map and most are about there.
I had headwork , some 300 quid cams, 182 manifold, IK, exhaust and mapped.
Cost me tonnes but to do the same from scratch you'd be talking about 1600 area.
To out drag cars costing ten fold more and over 200 bhp+ and torque to match it isnt...
At the end of the day if Ktec have made a error and you only get 5-7 bhp (which seem's about right for the mods) then this result is bang on the money and there would have been no point in this thread. The fella admitted he got 10 bhp gain in mid range plus a increase in torque. Seems like a...
Ktec's advert is miss-leading, quote:
Description: ''We tend to see gains of between 12-15bhp from this stage 2 package''
Facts: ''I would expect to see an improvement of 5-7BHP with Stage 2 tuning.''
Make your mind up which it is lol
TBF, 6.5 bhp peak and 10 bhp mid range with a torque...
Why? Its exactly the same as a full decat. You roll a golf ball from one end it comes out the other.
The only difference is an outer box to mute the drone (silencer)
You don't want to be hitting a full size deer but on the other hand hitting a car coming the other way or a tree would hurt even more. The deer is a safer option, just close your eyes on impact.
Personally id cancel the belts for a few weeks until you can be sure its not burning oil. You don't want to be paying twice if there is a issue.
Drain the oil so its to the correct level and use the car, take it on a long run to clean it out and see if its burning or using oil still afterwards
If its not the cable it will be the throttle body its self or to be more accurate, the throttle body spring.
Very common fault. The spring looses its tension with age and rubs on the TB holder causing the revs to stick.
Why was that? You'd think with cams the RS2 would have really responded..
Was it to do with runner length, harmonics, lack of time for development etc or just didn't and won't work end of ?
F1's were under priced on the 2nd hand market for years tho! - From Renault the last time i looked which is about 2 years they were £175 EACH
Their also pretty light and with the popularity of switching to 15's in the track scene they are the ideal choice
Parada's are without doubt the best tires iv ever fitted to the 172.
This bad in the wet lark is absolute rubbish. A total myth - The wear rate is 10 times better than toyo garbage as well
On the old forum modding the TB was said to be a total waste of time with no gains to be had. No idea if its true or not in practice?
IIRC Jenvy did an enlarged single one for the Clio Sports. Obviously the rest of the inlet track prior would need to be enlarged to benefit.
If you wanted...
If he crashed into me for example his insurance company are still legally bound to pay out to the third party regardless if his insurance is found to be void.
ECU mapping is merely tweeking the original units values. - To be able to check they would need to remove the ECU and start testing...
