Putting radiator drying rails (the ones you just place on top) on the bonnet and roof may be worth a try! Make sure they've got the rubber ends so they don't scratch the paintwork though!
Never used it myself mate, so can't comment! If it's heavy cut (#85 is 10/10) then it should work. Would check the bottle to see if it mentions use on glass.
I've got megs 85, 83 etc and menzerna PO85RD (finishing), 106FA (similar to the 85RD but a bit more abrasive) and PO85RD3.02 I think it's called, which IIRC is a similar cut to #83.
I prefer the menzerna myself, but I keep the megs for backup as sometimes menzerna gets fussy and won't break...
Cheers! It is a fair bit to spend, but I think it's worth it just because you can remove stonechips and things like the scratches on my door (other polishes/scratch removers couldnt get them out).
If you do a few mate's cars, you easily make the money back!
Oh yeh obviously in general young drivers are more likely to crash, but I was just saying they're often stereotyped by people thinking they're all 'high risk' drivers.
I think the problem is that people (and insurance companies) assume all young drivers drive like idiots. I know plently of younger drivers who drive far more sensibly than people much older than them.
Cheers! I think I've got the last of the glass pot batch so not sure if that's the more durable recipe or not. It seems to last ok, may put a layer of collinite over it when I next clean it. I usually use clearkote yellow moose and carnauba wax over the top, but I think the dodo brings out...

Defo essential, you can see the paint far more clearly with these. They're useful for when it gets dark too lol, and for just generally working on your car.
Bit of trial and error tbh mate, seeing what works for you. If you go on detailing world there's a guide to dual action polishing by dave kg thats got a lot of good info :)
You gotta be patient with it though, and it is hard work lol.
lol no worries mate. Mine's a daily driver too, I only do about 12k ish a year though. There wasn't much point doing it now because of the weather, but I wanted to do it and sort the scratches out etc.
I'm not sure mm wise what they're lowered by mate, it's 4 threads higher on the front than...
Cheers for the comments!
APC wise I use megs. I've got some stardrops for when I get round to doing the rear axle etc lol.
As for the sidestrips they would look better lacquered, but I'm pleased with them for now as it cost me sod all lol. I think with a bit more time on them I can get them...
Finally got round to doing this on Sunday, was struggling for time a little but I'm pretty pleased with the results! I must of had my detailing kit for a while now, and this is the first time I've detailed my own car! I've owned the car for about 2 months now, and I'm loving every second of it...
Things to check:
General rubbing/knocking.
Springs becoming unseated (when the car is raised up for example)
If the springs unseat themselves, it's a definate fail. Why not just raise it up as said? :S
Usually once a week if I can, just a general wash with some last touch to finish. Then I'll do a proper detail whenever the current layer of wax looks as if it's on its way out.
Those Chester NG pics are sweet :o
Apologies if this has already been posted (pics don't seem to appear when I try to put em on here):

DVLA says there's under 2000 now though lol, will be less than that soon too seeing as it's coming up to winter.
