Thought I'd put this up as a general product guide for anyone looking to buy some new products. I havn't tried every product on the market but you can't go wrong with the ones posted below tbh. I'm sure Rich or some of the other guys on here can add to this plus fill in the blanks on stuff like...
Last post I saw you said you'd have no chance getting on donnington with it
Have already ordered the new one, should be a bit of a character anyway lol
Cheers for all the comments!!
r8byb: Yeh noticed you were from Tamworth, will have to meet up for some pics!
Bit of an update, nothing much though. Didn't really get as much done as I'd like unfortunately as the weekend seemed to go really quickly!
Popped over to Luke's for a bit of a cleaning sesh:
Some more foam action with a mix of Megs Shampoo Plus and APC :D:
Washed:
I'd...
Looking really good! Bet you were a bit gutted it didn't make 200bhp though :rasp:
Funny how the overseas members always say their english isn't very good yet actually it's pretty good lol.
Looks great!! If you're getting harnesses, get 4 points as you'll regret getting 3 points. I had them on my old daily driver and they were fine. You'll feel cool so that outways the extra hassle anyway :rasp:
Clearkote yellow moose and carnauba moose are my faves (used one after the other). Gives a lovely wet look and brings out the flake. Pretty durable too :)
I've considered it, but I like the turinis lol. I may get some for track wheels though. I'm tempted to just get the turinis refurbed in a brighter silver as they look a bit dull atm.
Cheers for the comments guys!
Should be some more progress tomorrow!
For some reason yours looks much better than mine :rasp: What cams have you gone for? I've been looking to get some towards the end of the year so would be interested in your results.
Cheers buddy :) I'll stick a few layers of sealent on the wheels which should help a little, and then a blast with the PW and foam lance every few days should help lol. Looking forward to fitting them as the greenstuffs I have on at the moment are crap!
Thought I'd start a thread on my car's progress seeing as I havn't put any pics up yet.
I picked the car up from Norfolk about 6 weeks ago, here it is with my mate's CTR at the services:
First thing to do was to get rid of the standard aerial and replace it with a Mazda 6 one (cheers to...
I've got billies (similar to H&R's but a slightly different rear setup) and I removed the adjuster ring and it sit perfectly now :approve: It's probably about another 10mm tops lower now.
I'm in the same boat, considering most of the ones in this thread. Anyone know what width the Sparco Evos are? I've sat in some of the circuit ones and they were well tight!
That looks ok :) You want something that offers about 6L a minute (or 360 an hour) which that one does. They also do a cheaper one for like 30 quid which I've heard is pretty good.
Fitted mine so I'll try and answer as best I can:
1 - You'll need to remove or cut the arch liner in the areas that it rubs. I'm currently about 2 inches or so down on the adjusters (so loads of threads left) and I don't have any rubbing issues although when it was halfway down it rubbed...
The Power Craft ones they do at aldi are very good. Made by Karcher but much cheaper! (About £80 although I picked mine up for £65!!). I think they'll be hard to find now but if your local Aldi has one it's definately worth a buy! It's pretty much Karcher fitment too although you have to...
