Get some wheel cleaner on them to get them spotless and apply a few coats of wax to protect them, then when you next wash the brake dust it'll come off easier.

Get rid of the mods, they aren't worth that amount of increase in premium. Sell them on and use the money towards your insurance or a better car in a year or two.
My girlfriend is suffering something similar on her laptop. Windows 7, genuine copy and it is saying her version has an invalid product key. Entering the product key she has from the CD/packaging does nothing!
My advice is to get a MacBook but that didn't go down well.

My parter recently bought me 2 new SDHC cards that were on offer, they are PNY 8GB Class 6. I used one today to take pictures at FCS. I then get home to find it wont recognise the card in my MacBook SD port, I've tried my other cards (SanDisk, Joyflash) and they mount up fine. I've tried...
