    Coils and brakes

Where are you from? At that price a handy local member could fit you the parts... You can get eibach or cooksports for £150 and a full set of discs and pads all round for similar.. I could do that work and save you a fortune.. If only suggest a full tracking after and the replacement of...

If it's RE 55 LWW it'll be my old dear hooning about... There's someone up the road with a BG too in the lower earley area and a blue one often parked a few doors up on the road.. That's not far off a good turn out for a club meet...

    Brakes slightly stuck

It's you clean it up and grease it correctly and all works well that should be fine... The rear pads come with little meat on as they aren't hugely used in braking.. If you have enough pad left, and it's all working well, crack on...

    Brakes slightly stuck

Your pads sit in guides that rust and often the pad gets tight.. The force of the pedal and handbrake moves them but they don't slide away from the disk.. When you change pads the guided should be wire brushed and a little copper slip on them keeps them slippery.. Only the guide tho.. Easy to...

Yeah, bodged brake fixes or pi55 poor advice doesn't belong when it comes brakes and stuff.. Do it right or don't bother.. Hasn't anyone got a spare one kicking about for a loan till yours turn up? It'll be quicker to swap over and bleed.. I'm sure one of cliosports finest will hook you up...

Bleeding Brakes After Trackday- Just the Dirty Bit or All?

Pointless... Brake fluid is hygroscopic, once opened its attracting moisture so should be used or binned... If you're bleeding just the lines and storing the rest, you're next top up is a fail upon a fail upon a fail... Ok, your experience might be ok doing this, but it's poor practice, even...

    Won't start after gearbox change

It'll be something you have done, it always is.... Go through everything unplug it and check the connections and reconnect.. I'm not sure where the clio picks up the signal to fire at tdc, fly or cam either way it could piss on your chips.. Your immobiliser may be at fault, but was it faulty...

Then it's fair, he'll have to get the drums off, check the seals, replace the bearings, then try and adjust the shoes into the drum again due to the lip on the drum... Don't do that yourself, it's a pain in the ar5e..

    need advice help!

Why not supply some rear discs with the bearings in already as there about £50 pad are cheap too... To stand there pressing out bearings and new ones in your paying for more labour.. Cut him out and you could have new discs pads and bearings for less than £100 by doing it yourself...
