Seems to me that the only function is to prevent air getting into the pressure line. The ones from Tilton etc are also very small, so I don't think it will be an issue. And the ones you are going to use also work very well on a motorbike.

Not an update on the Clio this time, but I just got back from vacation, so I thought I would post some pictures of the BMW in some nice places. It covered somewhere around 4000 km's in 2,5 weeks, and it's done a great job. The BMW really comes in it's place on the twisty roads of the Pyrenees...
