Agreed, for the £60 or so to have the timing checked/adjusted is absolutely critical!
Someone once said it can be as much as 20bhp down on an incorrectly timed engine.
I couldn't shake one in my Edition 30 and that was 300bhp, say what you want about the Fiesta/my driving oor Kev lol.
It had a Mountune badge, no idea what power it was running. But the driver was ginger and probably not old enough for penetration.
The Trophy is the one to go for if it has to be the 200 EDC, and they're still 16k+
The early Fiestas are now 7/8k and can take well in excess of 300bhp on standard internals. I know what i'd take.
