I’m sorry but if you want top money, the car needs to be in absolutely top condition. I’m in no doubt it’ll sell for good money but i’d be prepping the car to a high standard for the big bucks.
Its more the getting rid of it that would lie in my mind. Personally, i’d never buy anything regardless how good a fix it was that was registered damaged, to each their own!
Its all down to what someones willing to pay. For example, i can’t believe some folk will part with 65k for an Escort. Likewise the guy with the Escort can’t work out why i’ve just spent 6k on a 16 year old Honda.
