if youve got the car specific subframes then it should be a straight swap ...
Just watch the connectors when un-plugging the seats and and get a resistor the air bag light ... job done :-)
Umm.. I've got a pair of these but they were new and didn't feel I wanted to risk a red flag trying to scrub them in lol!
£35 a tyre isn't the issue if the tyre is any good, the other options seem to be £100 but are rain race tyres ... Is it worth it ??
Track was wet all eve unfortunately, the usual puddle into McLaren, paddock was ok though.
888s were ok... Wasn't the want for trying but just couldn't push the car through druids and Clearways... It's always a bit nervey when It's spinning up third to forth into paddock staight.
Looking for a wet set of tyres for track days after my 888s got a little swamped last night at Brands... I've come across rainsport 3 as a recommendation but curious if there is anything else??
Camskill have them at £35 a corner can't really complain at that cost can you ?

I use 888s and justify the cost because they're generally holding good value when you swap them out where they're on the wear markers. They grip better than federal rsrs but not 100% they last as long..
Nsr2 look good for the price at the mo, might be worth a poke (think they're about £60 each...
Its for a track day car ... its a bit of a fag swapping around wheels with bolts tbh and I had an issue last time out when a wheel wasnt seated correctly, I think studs would reduce that risk happening again.
may also need spacers as will be running 6.5 wheels over 7... which will be the next...
As a couple of guys have said ... you only need the tuner to map the car, effectively the remap is the cost of the License @ £50 from Fastchip ... you buy and sell the tuner as required.
The only reason you'll need to keep the Tuner is if you have any repeat use of any modules installed or youre...

The question is around whether a cage installed will fail the MOT, also whether having seats and harnesses in will fail ???
the original belts will be removed, internal trims but I'm a bit OCD so the wires will be tidy and I'll make up door Cards to fill unnecessary holes...
That would be hard ... Knowing it's sitting waiting to be converted lol.
To be honest, seat are gone... Dash will soon and cage to go in if Oreca can stop thinking I can read French haha...

I'm now convinced that I want to convert my 182 to track car spec but will a stripped out car still pass an MOT ?
I'd there anything I need to look out for in particular... ?
MOT is not for a month or two so have time to make necessary changes etc ... And advise appreciated.

This all begining to make sense now ..
I was running 888 on the front and road tyres on the rear and pushing, needless to say the rear would break away which was nice and brought the car in nicely for corners like Graham Hill and entrance to Clearways... But pushing my luck Maybe at paddock.
I'm happy with the abs but I assume the traction control / esp are connected but will switching off the esp button will fully disable the braking / esp ?

Does anyone know if the Clio 182 has an anti skid system ?
Basically the rear of the car when unsettled applied the brakes ... this was happening to me through paddock bend and entry into clearways and was really unsettling the car.
Anyone know of this ? Any pointers appreciated ...

Playing with the idea of an RStuner but can only justify it if its the Pro version for the gauge output and the data logging.
Has anyone used this function and rate it ??

It is each to their own taste (and budget) this worked well for me ... Its quite subtle for me. The reason why was simple clios are very much a track day car and my 1st track session with it there was 4 other blue 182... With the exception of wheel...
The work cost me £230 Inc vat.
