I thought that 2" was good for about 190bhp before it came restrictive and that you'd need about 220bhp to warrant a 2.5" exhaust? If you were only running 190ish bhp wouldn't 2.25" be better? Surely a slightly smaller diameter is better than a bit bigger due to back pressure etc?
Probably...
Just looking for some pics of:
1. New style RS badges on mk2's (I've bought some and want to make sure I position them right :o )
2. Pipercross CAFs in the fogs on mk2s.
Cheers :)
Don't bother with the rears, spend your money on the fronts. If you really want to get some for the rear don't get anything better than Alpine Type E's and tbh I doubt you'd even tell the difference with them in.
Only ever had Rainbow's and Hertz comps myself, the Hertz are very good for the...
Anyone ever considered something like this? A pic below of the one designed for the CTR:
Seems to give good gains on them. They sit near the arch where there is a good source of cold air.
As far as I know there's nothing like this for the clio, but would a kit like this work well? Could...
Yeh should of mentioned that. No where near as good as the PB wheel sealent but it did give the wheels a nice shine which IMO is probably a little better than the PB gives.
Agree with the above but I'd go for:
Wash mitt:

Drying Towel:

As for wax, as said collinites is...
I'd say so yeh.
Not keen on the tyre dressing myself. You could have a look at the wheel sealent? It's in a spray can. I found it was alright actually.
Other than that there's the engine cleaner if you ever do that and the vinyl and rubber care I think it is.
Parada Spec 2's get my vote although as far as I know you can't get them in 195/45/16 but I think you can get them in 205.
If not the T1R's. I've got Eagle F1s on at the moment and I'm not a fan; sidewalls are far too soft. Good in the wet though but I think they're about 20 quid a corner...
Then go with the Clearkote IMO, that's my favourite for non metallic paint. It's durable and gives awesome beading! Vics concours is popular and very durable but I've only used it a handful of times so can't really comment on it that much.
Best stuff to 'clean' trim IMO is groundnut oil especially if you have polish marks on the trim. It's available from asda for just over a quid.
As for actual trim stuff I'm not sure out of their range of products. The AG Bumper Care is alright.
As for a wax, vics concours is a decent wax and...
Defo do it yourself, G220 is a great place to start although once you start doing more cars it can get frustrating because it can't correct as severe swirls as a rotary can. If your car isn't too bad it'll turn out fine though. Not really explaining it very well lol.
This pic is from the last...
Great bit of kit, really easy to navigate around. You get the cable with it and that plugs into the back. You control the ipod from the HU (obviously) and it charges it at the same time too.
Should be fine with your ipod, my old nano works fine on it. The 'full speed' is so you can use older...
Anything around 60 to 70 fitted from a local place is good IMO. Always worth asking around as I've found some local places do them for cheaper fitted than on the internet delivered!
I wouldn't go for the F1's tbh, I've got em on mine and I'm not very keen on them. Far too much sidewall flex...
Front bumper is absolutely nailed
It's not lowered
Radio makes a lovely crunching noise like it's eating itself
It's not lowered
Few small dings here and there
Possible dodgy TB - a bit twitchy on idle
It's not lowered
Apart from that, all good :approve:
