Any idea on a rough price? I may go for the faulkers using the cup dampers and then upgrade to the bilsteins if/when they are released.
Any ideas on spring specs I should be looking at? I want it as good as it can be for track but still road usable. I think 200lb should be a good starting...

I've been thinking about going down a different route in terms of suspension setup mainly because I can't really justify £750 on H&R's right now.
I want to go for Bilstein dampers but can't find them anywhere for the clio. The idea was to couple these with some custom faulker springs (...
Could anyone with a smaller front numberplate either the 3/4 ones or the ones that fit the recess post some pics please :) Trying to decide which to go for...
I think 5k or thereabouts is a fair price if you can get someone whos really interested. Not sure when the last few cups were produced although I think there are a few 2004 ones.
Luke (1PBY) has one on his, sounds amazing inside! Not too noisey that it's unbearable either. You don't get that drone at constant revs too which is nice. Only bad thing is I think it's over the 98db track limit.
As Middo says, when you first buy the stuff you think s**t I've spent a fair bit but then once you've got a good range of products they last for ages and are well worth it for the results
Also doing mates cars on the side for a bit of money helps to recover money spent on a DA etc.
Not yet mate, want to get rid of the punto first really, havn't really got room on the drive for 2 cars! Hoping to get it by the end of next week at the very latest.
It's a 53 plate, 55k, pretty mint condition except the odd chip which I'm not too fussed about. Got a good deal on it; well me...
I do a bit of detailing but just on the side for mates etc. Pros like this guy will charge around £25-£30 an hour so at 10 hours a day for a 3 day job you're looking at abou £800. Obviously costs have to come out of that too.
172 cup. I'm happy to pay 5k as it seems like it'll be a hell of a lot of car for the money. Will have to remember to ask about cam belt changes etc as that could be another way to get a better deal :)
I'm going to look at a few cups at the weekend and was wondering what sort of price I should be looking to pay? I'm thinking about 5k for one in good condition with average miles is that about right? I've read the buying guide but any other tips as to things to look out for would be great :)
Hi :)
I'm looking to get a 172 cup within the next week or so and have been looking for a while. Just wondering what sort of price I should be paying? Possibility of a bargain with the credit crunch etc?
Already had a look at loads of the threads on here, lots on useful info and you don't...
