    So you've already checked the ecu line to the fan relay? Does it give a supplied earth when the cts is unplugged? Clip won't tell you anything about a relay fault, will only say about a circuit error

    Lol, reminded me of doing a boxer van, 06 plate. Trying to do a wheel bearing. Maxed out my 8 tonne press. So took it to an HGV workshop locally. Maxed out their 30 tonne press. Took it to a plant hire place with their 200t press. Broke the hub lol.

    Some do sieze in there(I'm seeing it more and more) even one a while back took 8 tonnes and still didn't shift.

    Ecu switches earth to trigger the relay. That's where your fault is.

    You could always do what I've done with Vikki's (just not finished it) 197 internals and head in 172 block.

    it doesnt mate to a 172 box at all, your best bet is to find a way to contact chip as he I'm sure he will explain all his research to you about the boxes as I know the boxes were a big part of his decision.

    I use a knackered dephaser (as they don't lock) and do a full rotation whilst keeping the inlet advanced.

    Yup 100% it engaged the dephaser and started knocking the valves. If you paid him to do it, it's down to him to repair it.
