I'd use Hammerite smooth. It'll be fine on them. Yeah it's worth while putting clear coat over the decals. You can get some other stuff too which @The Russian. Used on his to seal / protect them.

Front & rear lights, then get silver side repeater bulbs. Or you want something funky, Osram Diadems which are sort of blue, but flash orange.

Silvervisions for all round, you'll need offset pin ones. For plates, try fancy plates. Iirc you get a CS discount too (details are on here somewhere)

True + I've seen some BM's with the OBD blanked off to help prevent them getting stolen.

Looking good! I painted up the the centres of mine & the edge of the discs. It was a mission but it stops them going rusty / manky etc.

I never realised that it had the phase 2 exhaust rear grilles. They look miles better than the crap phase 1 chicken wire. Parts bin mate :wink: My one's coloured, but there are newer cars with a phase 1 boot on them :confused:

I liked the one in the pic Ant posted up, it still has unpainted arches etc.

Keep the arches un painted & buy a spare rear spoiler & bits that go above the rear lights & colour code those? I quite like the one that's done like that.

Not as bad as I thought tbh, but I reckon that's because that one has less grey on it. Will you colour code your rear spoiler etc?

Don't do them gold, they'll look wrong with the body.

They look nice, loads better than the OE ones! How hard was it to get that steering wheel to fit ? Does it just go straight on ? Do they do them in daft colours ? (mine's a phase 1)
