I could well be wrong, when I got the alpine lead to do stalks and display they were REALLY insistent that I had the right one.
For stalks-only it might be different.
You'd still be overtaken by everything.
Especially cars with energy-drink stickers on them
I totally agree that a Bumbury unit would be superb. surely @Cub. can get his wallet out and buy it with loose change.
Failing that, Munson's probably already got it purchased, and will develop the site...
what was the original head unit?
If it was a Tuner List, you'll be fine, but you'll need a CTALPINELEAD adapter lead....but that couldbe what you've said is coming with it, in which case you'll be fine.
If your original OEM stereo was an "update list" then you might be a bit stuck
If you want a little slice of painful failure, you could do a lot worse than to head over to....

Looks like the final nail in the coffin. Caterham are thinking of running their 2014 chassis in 2015, but if Manor sell theirs off, what are they going to use?
no.
no it's not, budday.
Slack jawed troglodytes, the vast majority.....thatsaid, my experiences of Lincolnshire mainly involved Boston/Sleaford/Spalding/Louth/Skeggay.
So there may be some intelligent life out there, I just never found it
It's a club annual meet that just happens to be at a...
Separate Parade lap for non-Clio CS peeps too? There's enough of us.
Showing solidarity, that, with CS.net, even if you have a different motor, you're welcome.
(provided it's either an M3, Fiesta ST or Mk.1 MX5)
I'll admit now, that this was the last thing on my mind.
Until you said that, then it dawned on me that if it ends up with 191 clios with drivers of wildly different skill and attitude all attack the same stretch of tarmac at the same time, I might just save myself the insurance claim and stay...
no no, totally legitimate post.
I'd rather have self-proclaimed car afficionados (aka web warriors) tell me about how my wheel/rubber combo is worthless and makes my car look waff (these being the same warriors who drive sheds that wouldn't sell on a forecourt for £2k, but they know best)...
I'm now playing on Google maps to find the ultimate in Cannonball Fen run.
I'm thinking Downham market -> back roads past Manea -> Skirt around the outside of Chatteris (SPEED CAMERA ALERT) -> Somersham -> St. Ives.
Then stop for pictures and food.
After the first batch of twisties out of...
oh I sure do. I live in Sutton and my cousin works at the garage near Somersham, those are pretty much my shake-down roads :)
One benefit of the land being flat as far as the curvature of the earth allows, you dont often have blind bends.......just plenty of ditches :/
Too right. Used to drive from Boston to Ely or Mepal regularly.... this was before there was the bypass. So an hour or so of 100% backroad. Superb
I used to be a chavvy nobber of a driver then. But I was in a Clio so it was expected ;)
This is what I've been trying to say to @Owen92 too, the...
We may not have hills, but we get some great backroads!
The run from the A142 to Downham Market, via Nordelph, for instance. That's always fun in the summer :D
With all the torque you don't have? It's just a very quick way to stall at every
single
set
of lights
Also, first sign of a hill (yeah yeah, not likely around our way) and you're slowing down
