Made up a little loom for the fuel pump relay tonight. Still requires the trigger wire but this can be done on the day. You'll notice the small red Deans plug with fly leads to the pump. This is so I can just unplug the pump and with just one bolt and 2 fuel fittings the whole pump/filter cradle...
Exhaust system is completely custom built.
Ceramic coated tubular headers, inconell uppipe and wastegate pipe by T-Logic. Downpipe by X-Workss and the rest of the system was made by simpson race exhausts. The reason for different people making different parts is due to various changes that the...
Turbos been welded and now fitted along with the downpipe and wastegate. Shortened the inlet hose slightly for better fit. Hopefully get header tank bracket back this week from the coaters and then that can also go on. Oil separator is currently being made. Will size up for the last boost pipe...
Turbo modded, just needs fully welding.
Also got the turbo a nice little jacket to keep her warm this winter :D
Changed the routing of both the turbo oil feed and the PAS HP line, so these will be remade. Dropped a couple of items at the coaters this morning too.
Getting closer :D
Id ditch that filter and put the OEM box back on with a good cold air feed, decat, fuel pump and map will see you at approx 330/330. Thereafter its turbo, injectors, headers.
Stock motor will be plenty happy enough up to 450bhp.
Best of luck :)
Taking her Nurburgring virginity!!
Daily whip has been ring prepped lol,
Brembos discs, Performance Friction 01 pads, Goodridge lines, RBF600 fluid and Federal 595 RS-R rubber.
I head out on Thursday, cant wait to get back out there, :)

UPDATE FOR FRED
Dear Lord Clio Guru Fred,
Thou shall not ever put copper grease or any other type of anti sieze compond onto race pads again, for as long as i shall live.
Failure to do so will resort in the...
Yeah I guess it us reasonably common now. The stardard Subaru headers are very unequal lengths and that's what provides that distinctive flat 4 beat. You can literally hear every single firing stroke. Fully equal length headers completely delete that sound. But also have the effect of moving the...
Well consider it cured because mine doesnt sound like any normal Impreza. Im running almost equal length headers which delete the flat 4 beat over 3k rpm.
Here, have a listen...
very old clip, but you get the idea.

I know why youre saying to ditch the copperslip Fred, but ive never had a problem on any of my APs on track. Dont worry, i'll take youre advise, just saying ive never had a problem before on the Impreza...
Lol, the bomber is the Impreza. All in black, one eye and suitably ugly. Shes the bomber lol
Lol, i'll get your coat mate.
All over the place, i do 50 miles a day to/from work, let alone going to wales etc. She'll get a sh1tload more going to Germany in a couple of weeks :)
Mate, i bought it in April with 8300 miles on. It had been wrapped in cotton wool for its entire life. Ive used it daily since and loved every single second of it :)
She has 16k miles on her now mate. Im yet to find a cleaner example to be honest. However i dont really care for all that stuff. I just look after it like i would do anything else. Change its oil every 7k etc etc. Always wash it with only a mitt and 2 buckets, jetwash the underside regularly...

Just adding a little update to this thread,
I decided on Brembo HC discs, PF01 pads, Goodridge lines and RBF600 fluid.
So gave the car some lovin today.
Stiff little chassis when youre jacking these up...
She got a treat today, oil+filter, Brembo HCs, PF pads, and goodridge stainless lines.
Stiffy?
Next to the "Bomber"
Nows shes gonna get a well deserved wash :D
Again mate. I don't wanna use a harness with stock seats either. Cg lock is far safer as it retains the function of a seatbelt in the event of a collision. Harness would quite probably cause the seat back to collapse.
I wouldn't ever chance a harness on a non FIA seat.
