Few bits done over the weekend. Best bit I got it running
Fitted the oil pressure switch for me gauges.
Just need to finalise the location of it.
PMS Exhaust fitted too
The hanger is abit some for the prima racing mount tho.
It's not a stealth exhaust, it's the recessed system. not sure how much as the previous owner has cut and sleeved part of the exhaust. Made it easier to get off and I'll supply a new sleeve. I'll get some pics
Car is gunna be good when all do mate. Did you ever get to the bottom of your wiring starting issue?
I've got a similar issue but all I've done is move the obd port lol
So new starter still didn't cure my issue.
So brought a few other items to tidy things up a bit.
PMS exhaust is here now too :)
I've also removed my ktec exhaust and ktec decat so they're for sale now.
I'll check for that shortly. Must me priming tho otherwise I wouldn't get fuel at the rail, would I?
Under the dash? Fuse box passengers side?
Engine bay fuses all good yeah.
Immob seems ok. No flashing red light.
Yeah all seems good power wise.
How loud is the fuel pump wine on these when they prime?
Me strip out Ibiza was really noticeable but can't hear this but I've removed the fuel line on the fuel rail and when cranked plenty of fuel came through and...
Having issues with the car starting.
I've checked all power points and the battery which are 12.6v. When cranking the battery drops to 11.6v.
I've cleaned all the earth points and had the starter off, bench tested it and it fires and spins freely. I've even wedged the starter between the...

Thanks, I did finally get it on, figuring out how that fitted was the hardest bit about fitting the PMS kit lol. Should have that pic in there instructions lol.
Having issues with the car starting. Bugging the crap out of me now. Have 12.5v at all power points, earths all good, crank sensor new and reading right, getting fuel, spark and it turns over by hand. Starter must be engaging as the crank does turn. Any ideas in going mad haha
Clio's looking more like a car now.
Sorted the dash out
And lobbed it in. Was a right fight and was rather floppy so had to make some brackets to support it.
I brought these hydraulic cable crimping tool to wired up the battery.
Also relocated the OBD port and airbag ecu (not that I...
Finished off the oil cooler setup.
Hoses made up.
Tools used
These jaws where well handy
Oil cooler with lines
Wheel stud and nut kit fitted
Rear with 3mm spacer
Front with 5mm spacer
Ordered new inner track rods as that's the only part I haven't re-newed with the new hubs.
Yeah they're pretty cool, should save me from getting stabbed by the braided hose lol
Tbh I only used string to get the car moveable and to get it somewhere to be tracked properly.
Ordered these little beauties to help make up braided hose.
Got the oil cooler mocked up and fitted nicely
Set the tracking as you can tell from above it was miles out
Finially fitted the new RC hubs.
Fitted the pre-loaded bearings from Pms into the solid top mount
Old bearing pressed out
New pre-loaded bearing in
Engine mounts on and all torqued up
New purchase
If it is injectors, and you want to do it your self laser have released a air hammer and injector tool adaptor which should do the trick if it's easily accessible. I borrowed one to changed the washers on me dads van worked a treat.
The air hammer is £65+vat new then you just need the injector...
The pic above is my car :)
Only reason I put the catches in the middle was because its had knock on the offside and crumpled the corner of the crash bar slightly so I can't get areo catches in the normal place lol
If you look just below the headlights your see what I mean.
Also the holes...
I believe the first line number you had on the other thread is correct for the 172 cups and 182s.
