We insisted because you don't know how long left the others have, so why replace a working component?
Sure another failed, coincidence more than anything.
The logic of "it's working, but I'll replace it" doesn't really work.
My cable was only £40!
Try OpieOils for oil - there's loads specific for the Sports, and usually a nice discount (may need to be a member though).
Not sure anyone around Berks for cambelt - but check all the traders on here and go for the closest - general concensus is the cambelt is a pain in...
Josh were you in Worcester Thurs/Fri? It's the only S15 I've seen around here and it looked identical to yours! (at least as far as I could see, it was quite far away by the time I'd noticed it)
Not a fan, but then I don't get the whole VAG scene, for me the wheels look way too small and the Arches just look confused because of it.
I also prefer the MX-5 :p
It should reduce the tripoding at least, and it will make it more tail happy if you have it on the hard setting. I got mine on the soft setting and its perfect - turn-in is much tighter and generally feels more "planted" in corners.
Not gonna bother trying the hard setting for now.
99 is fine (aka Tesco Momentum etc).
Generally you're ok to go higher, but going lower isn't so good iirc.
So in this case, Tesco Momentum or any other RON99 should be fine for RON98.
Nexus 7 get's my vote due to the ease of copying files over (music/films/books), over iTunes. (I said this previously, but now other people actually I agree I know I won't get shot down for mentioning a non-Apple product :P)
Re: HP Elitepad, iPad retired.
The only thing going for Apple atm is their dedicated fanbase, there are plenty of products out there which rival every single one of theirs, and in a lot of cases (subjectively or objectively), they are better products out there!
I was given/gave the firmware version too, both 182's also, so no worries there :)
I think now-a-days the Map is linked to your VIN, so can't be done, but older maps certainly can.
