Update on ththe vxr8. I got a noise from the belts, similar to a chirping sound! Had a look at the engine and poured water on the aux belt and then noise stopped. While checking I noticed that the bottom crank pulley was wobbling. A google search indicates that this is a problem with the vxr8. I...

I used to feel the same about autos but I've really changed my opinion of them now.

I did like the Saxo but it was a one trick pony. This thing is more of an all rounder that I'll enjoy on a daily basis.

Yeah, they do it in manual. I'd of rather had the manual BUT I can't help acting like a dick with the clutch and rwd so think the auto is the better option for me.

That's all anyone has said to me. I'm shocked! I was expecting the 6.0 v8 to do at least 50 mpg.

As most of you know, I have had a few cars but never had a v8. I've always wanted one so have decided to opt for the vxr8. 48k miles with full history. It's also the auto version which I wouldn't have touched 5 yrs ago but now I love - it just be an age thing. Anyway, some pics;
