    They are great cars but the servicing and running costs are quite high. It's kind of like doing a cambelt every year once you have changed the engine, box, diff oils etc. Plus there is the 15mpg issues, £300 for front disks, it all adds up. I'm glad I owned one but I'm not going to lose any...

    After 10 months or so the Evo sold today to the first viewer (as always). Massive amounts of interest in the car and looked great as it drove away!

    Pretty cheap considering as well. Most of the Volvo turbo bits are interchangeable so you can use the later turbos, 16t, 19t etc and as long as you sort out the boost and the fuelling magic can happen!

    Stock internals they can run a safe 350bhp. Anything about that and you need to build the engine.

    If it's 30k plus I still think I'd rather have the type r or golf r. It would be good if they gave the standard sport 220bhp and a manual box and kept the costs down.

    It's not what I'd of gone for tip wise but this is all they offered. Jetex do a down swept tip but it's not high on the list of priorities.

    Exhaust fitting day today! Didn't go according to plan as the down pipe turned out to be a b**ch. Still not on and had to call it a night so back at it tomorrow!
