Not being biase at all here (Got MK 1) See lots of threads with people saying MK1 ishard to handle a handfull over rated etc... Advise is test drive one.. I test drove MK1 and MK2 before purchasing and to be fair MK2 does drive a bit better as in smoothness but as for power and handling...

Had the option of either MK2 Is too tame and not sure where eveyone gets the yare much faster as have yet to see this happen. I have done three one on quarter mile and other two on road??

Only had the one prob with mine so far and that was gearbox problem. Wouldnt select 2nd gear currently in getting new gearbox under warranty! Apart from that mint....

May be a fault with lacquer on wheel like?

Probs the wonder wheels causing damage!!! Only ever had probs with wonder wheels... Done the same on my Ipmpreza wheels and ones in my 172... I normally get wheel cleaner from a local valeting firm... Big tub costs 30 quid but lasts ages as needs diluting with water...

If it is a proper inverter this will not cause a problem as they are designed and setup for useage from Cig Lighter.. They have an additional inline fuse.. I am currently using one of these for my PS2 and its working fine
