Ben, Are the throttle bodies in any way harmful to the engine?? do you need to replace any pistons etc or clutch, gearbox to handle the extra power?? what would the 0-62 time be like?

Hey for u guys who have changed ure pads... (BRAKE PADS... stop laughing already.. hehehe), Well im seriously thinking of getting some green stuff pads, but i know the stock ones are excellent for breaking and apparently the clio is the best braking car in the world or something like that.. so...

YEah mate, theres a big plug on top of the stacker underneath the front passenger seat.... i find that when i squeze that plug, the light goes off...

huh?? u guys talking about the 172s?? with the 172s the suspension has been tweaked a tiny bit, theres more equipment on the mk2 which makes it heavier... and the throttle body is different giving a greater spread of torque to make up for the extra weight...

Do any of you guys get like a husky rattle approaching 3000rpm?? Like its not there when cruising at 3000rpm... just accelerating through the gears as the needle hits 3000rpm it sounds sort of unrefined at that point.. like something is ressonating with it.. like a rattle....

Yeah, but thats not the point!! we bought the car for power the way it is.... its tuned almost to its max.... and is reliable the way it is isnt it? I mean, would you really risk possible engine damage trying to squeeze a tiny bit more out
