Gearbox was collected today :) Massive thanks to @NorthloopCup for sorting it out. Also got the 300mm Brackets for the Brembo's. Now the box is back i can start piecing all the bits back together. Fletcher is coming round tomorrow to help with a few bits and pieces. Should have a decent update...

This is really not helping me wanting to sell my PB when its back together and getting one of these ! Lovely car.

All the above bits have been painted. Went with silver/aluminium on the rocker cover instead. Fitted some bits back on the engine, just need to put it all back together and we will be getting somewhere with it all :)

Yea ph1 are not stamped. Some 172 are including all cups are iirc and all 182's are I think. Its easy too check. Just whip of the fuel rail guard (2 10mm nuts) and you can see. Honestly the difference is miniscule. If it's adds 3bhp I'd be surprised, your not going to feel it either way.

I dont think he does mate. You reasonably cant anyway. There all mounted to the breather plate differently and also the carbon canister connection is different on the 172 to a 182 on the breather plates.

It wont mate. The only inlet that will fit yours is a 172. The lower inlets where the fuel injectors fit into are the only interchangeable part that fits on any of the sport engines. 182 are diffrent also.

Not much has gone on over Christmas but i have manged to tape up and plug screw holes on all the parts that either need painting or powder coating. Will start with spraying all the brackets and bits you wont see matte black like the engine block. Then the rocker cover, cam belt shield and engine...

Re painted the block this weekend and swapped over the water pump outlet and seal. Went with matte black for the block. Once the other brackets are painted up and bolted on i think it will look quite nice.

No story line at all. There are some missions you do on your own that shows you the operatives in the game. Then its all JUST multiplayer. As said its awesome when theres a group of you that can talk and plan what your doing. I can imagaine it will get boring doing the same type missions over...
