I know theres been lots of views on what oil to use in 16vs. Just want a good quality oil. I change it every 4k. Been using 10w 40 semi with no problems but heard this is a bit sh*te. Whats everyone think? should i go fully synth?

Those phase 2s on yours look mint mate. I do actually prefer the look of em i think. But your phase 1s are def a tidy set.

my bird is 18 and got quotes on a 106 gti for under a grand. shes not got a years no claims yet. that was fully comp too! Get ur bird to ring diamond mate.

Look at a 16v engine bay mate!, If you can spot where the starter motor is youre doin well!

I know. A few bits I wasnt keen on with the phase 1, so just change em to phase 2. all fits on!

Mine did that mate. Had to have a new starter motor. c**t of a job too. Cost £160 fitted, genuine Renault one though. Just sticks sometimes doesnt it? Annoying as f**k. The silver thing is the heat sheild mate, they are made of some sort of material covered in like a aluminium foil stuff...

I do like phase 2 wheels. The five spoke never goes out of fashion, thats why I always get em. I love my 17s design though. Not too keen on the phase 1 wheels really, although they are a nice set and are kinda polished.

cool. Ive asked my dads mate whos a mechanic, he says that you just use some sort of high temp silicon, not a gasket. Its loads better apparently. Gaskets always leak.
