I have same shape clio... 17" alloys with right offset and lowered 60mm on spax springs and ive had 6 pplz in the car and no rubbing, even over humps! so all ok :)

ive got 17s and a 60mm drop and have taken 6 pplz in the car (inc me) to test the praticality and there was no rubbing even over humps! So I can only guess that 18s with the right offset and tyre profile would cause no problems with rubbage!!! not sure about tracking rods etc going wrong tho due...
