I had been looking for yellows and found Larkspeed to be the cheapest for the 182, Ive not changed my shocks in the end.
im sure i read somewhere that the Koni str dampers are apparently like the yellows on the softest settings, whatever thats like haha
^^the "Cup" package is much better, you get a better suspension pack which includes the uprated springs which also lowers in about 10mm, You also get a wider track of wheel.
Can anyone confirm that the track width on either cup or non cupped 182 are exactly the same? I think there the same???
Thats interesting as lots of members mention v6 airbox!! With the gen2 kit as i mentioned before get the cold air feed right and it is great, although no conparisons done with an rs tuner like you did.
Ive had the kit on for a few years now, sound wise is hard to describe really... It kind of gargles on tick over and has a nice roar when you floor it!!! have you changed your exhaust at all? I have a Magnex system on mine and when driving at normal driving speed say in 2nd or 3rd gear, when you...
I got a Gen2 on my 182! I would ditch the standard air feed that comes with it though and buy a couple of better ones (not foil). Decent air feeds to this kit makes a big difference, in my experience.
Not many places list them for the 182 but the cheapest i see so far was larkspeed. Your 182 needs to be a 182 without cup suspension pack as they dont make them for the cup pack afaik.
Rob.
Thats the problem there really! As much as I hate it leeking £350 is alot of money and ive checked the level and always mention it at a service and everytime the level is fine.
As been said alot already, they pretty much all do it anyway and so long as the level is ok it aint worth touching...
Yeah Mark will do setup aswell as alignment.
Give him a call James he is very helpful on the phone and will tell you evrything you need to know.

Good point, altough my issue was with an exhaust fitted elsewhere which needed sorting out, they said they wouldnt touch it as it wasnt bought from them!! Bizzare really??? I would still go mark fish anyway.
Rob.
Elitedirect wont fit anything that isnt bought through them, as I have experienced! My advice would be to go see Mark Fish as he is very experienced and not any further to travel really than elite. www.markfish.co.uk

Mine were removed regreased and refitted. I would be tempted to just spray lube all over them and see not sure if it will work though because of the type of grease used.
It cost me £50.00 something pounds to remove them and regrease, done by www.twotechs.co.uk
car drove much better after...
I find they are unstable on some roads when you put your foot down and tramline probably because of size of tyre.
What condition are your front tyres in, this could be your problem?
Also get your tyre pressure exactly right from cold, 33 up front 30 and see how you go
Rob.
Just had this done on mine 182 it was anti roll bar bushes that need re greasing!!
Creaking whilst moving forward, pulling away and slowing down also when turning full lock either way
Rob.
They are identical except the position of central hole.
Yeah thought it was strange you can see where the hole used to be centre but was filled then redrilled slightly more forward if that makes sense! It is a brand new dogbone and have also seen it like that on another!
Sorry for chatting of...
Davo172 I went to do this on my 182 the other week, but couldnt as the central hole through the metal part of big bush is positioned off centre to what yours shows. When the rubber was twisted round, as you show the hole ends up being higher up and off centre so wont transfer the forces properly...
Im glad you posted this is I have just bought a new dogbone mount for the 182 and have bought tiger seal to fill in the gaps. Did you cover the whole existing rubber aswell as the gaps either side??
I am unsure whether to fill in the gaps either side of the rubber or cover the whole rubber with...
Rory ill probably be interested, am running eibach pro springs on my 182 non cup and always wanted to change the shocks never got round to getting konis as they wasnt out for ages then i bought a house :-(
Not sure i would want to lose the eibach springs though would these shocks work with the...
