Hey guys
just did a awesome track day here in oz and after the last session came in with the clio pissing out power steering fluid from what looked to be the actual pulley, as was hours from home and quoted $880 for a tow I just drove it home topping it up very 30 mins or so, did notice heaps...
Solved! one of the rose joints was stuffed was super tight hence why after driving it would get hot and expand and make strange creeking noises, when cold it was almost unnoticable
Hey guys
got some funny noises coming from the front end. car feels great and handles great it just had fitted the bridge craft roll correction kit, has BC's and BC top mounts, but i can here some faint grrrr noises coming from the front when at super low speeds even slightly turning left or...
Hey Guys
Got 100 cell and miltek cat back fitted, i believe the exhaust shop didnt touch the pre cat sensor but next day after exahust fitted at a track day the engine light came on yellow and wont go away even after reseting error codes with RS tuner. logs with the tuner show the voltage...
they only have maybe 1000km on them, I installed them couple of months ago and had no problem, I had to remove the coilovers to have them modified to fit the roll correction kit on and figured easy just to remove the the coilover and top mount together. I did have a bit trouble when I put them...
Yep that’s how I set mine up too I think previously with out the top mounts we could only get 2.7 degrees camber with only the bolts but I believe extra castor would be more beneficial but like to know how much should we being aiming for?

Hey I’m buy no means an expert and rely on quality wheel alignment techs to get it done right, last setup was 3.3 degrees camber, 3 degrees caster, 0 toe, seem’d great at last track day but had a bridgecraft roll correction kit as well for the 1st time which transformed the car, should the top...
Will have a play tonight, can anyone confirm that pure motorsport top mounts will fit the BC's? As they bolt through the strut towers I feel they might be a bit better.
Can any one also confirm the 3 bolts on the BC Motorsport Top mounts dont adjust anything and are clearly there to clamp the...
Hey Guys
I have BC top mounts fitted to my BC coilovers, fitted them and everything was fine, had to remove them and since fitting them again I can hear what feels / sounds like the top mounts are loose when say moving around a bumpy car park, driving at speeds is fine, ive loosened off the...
Hey Guys
I have a bridge craft roll correction kit for my 182 just wondering if anyone can confirm the torque settings. Is this correct:
117nm for the ball joint and 82nm for the tie rod end?
thanks
David
Hey Guys

Ozclio from Australia here with another issue I need to identify what the hell is wrong. Please have a listen to the video below.
I think its a inner tie rod but could be way off. Issue started over night and I havent driven it since as you can see its not constantly like this but...
Slam panel and top grill was well off, half day may be exaggerated but defiantly not a walk in the park coming from my regular office job to master mechanic

Just an update new aux kit is all on and no more rubbing has loads of room between belt and pulley. Cost about $300aud from Renault Australia with trade pricing. Took me half the day and lots of head scratching and did it with bumper on and the jubilee clip trick as of course the tensioner tool...
Only reason I haven’t pulled the pin on that is because I spoke with two Renault shops one suggested the actual alternator maybe wrong size and the other didn’t have any tensioners in stock and wanted to sell me a 2nd hand. Dealer wants $300 for the kit which is a bit much unless I’m sure that’s...
Spoke to another Renault shop he believes the alternator may have had a bigger pulley on it then the original I think that’s crap as it was looking identical to the one I replaced my new theory is the belt is non genuine and is quite a bit taller then a genuine one, has any one came across this...
Ok will pick one up tomorrow, with the jubilee trick just wrap it around the tensioner till it’s basically closed, install the belt then loosen off and remove the jubilee? Or if some can explain how to modify a extension bar and use that? Do you just grind the end down to fit then you can leaver...
Lol sure is but have done couple of thousand kms and a track day since i change the alternator and it was always pretty close did leave a tiny indentation from the start and had a mechanic look at it and was told not to worry about...hence why I really hate mechanics!!
Any other theories? Just...
