I've got some Matt Black sprayed wheels which some knob has sprayed OVER the little weights that you balance the wheels with as they were on the outside of the rim.
Can you balance around these or will they have to be removed as my wheels shake above 60.
If they're removed i'm left with some...
Sweet cheers guys it is a bit extream as the treds couldnt be more diffrent. Anyhow Im not going to change them as I'm getting brand new aftermarket alloys next month I HAD to get these as my old ones were boarding illegal and one wouldn't take a tyre.
As these are black they're proving...
I fitted some used Black powdercoated standard alloys today to replace my heavly kerbed standard alloys.
My old wheels front tyres were sitting on the limiter, on the fronts.
They were all Michellin Pilot Sports.
Anyhow, my new wheels have a mixture of Avon, Michellin and Nexium all with...
Try Quinn-Direct, I pay a grand less on a modded 1.6, one crash, 18, 0ncb.
But it varys for everyone mate thats why I think insurance is so random as Quinn are crap for one of my mates who only lives a few streets away.
I've brought some aftermarket Red LED lights (not lexus type) they look quite subtle so I'm pleased with them.
Only problem being they like 99% of all aftermarket lights let water in, makes my old Clio's sunroof look waterproof lol.
Okay it isn't that bad but what I mean is when I washed the...
Are you going to run them to the headunit, if so it's a waste of time but it will be a straight forward wire for wire swap remove old wire feed new wire the original route and wire into iso connector/amp then to speakers.
I can just touch 100 miles to a tenner in the VTR which is 1.6 now I can get 80 miles to a tenner in my 1.4 MK1 and about the same in my old 1.2 MK1 Clio... French?
Nah not yet, I've submited a form for a free no obligation quote I suggest you do the same, it's free and they come to you to give you an est!
I've let you know the soon as I know.
Good luck with it mate.
Mate I've just had a simular problem, but not scratches mine was overspray.
Avoid safecut etc.. at all costs I used a rubbin compound and it's taken away the top surface making it all dull going to let chips away sort it.

So tempting, it's just matching the Silver thats going to make it a pain in the arse.
Maybe best getting it and leaving it to the pros to spray any idea what they'd want...
Lol if it was belive me it'd have fallen off long ago.
Indeed it is a bit of a job, I might be better just looking out for a silver bumper or even any color VTR bumper, masking over the black bits and spray the actual color coded bit to my silver.
Funny thing is I could get a body kit bumper...
Quite a mission I've heard as the actual black bumpstrip is a part of the bumper meaning that will need to come off.
I'm thinking of masking all the black off on the front bumper and spraying from the far right side as shown in the picture to about half way down the driverside light, it all...
Heres the current state of my bumper.
As you can see the black trim is in a pretty sorry state, what do you think the best way of restoring this would be?
If I was to get some Matt Black spray would I need to do the whole bump strip or just the left hand side bit which needs doing...
Will probably regret posting this as I might well get some stick.
Reparing a scuff on my bumper I got overspray on the black rub strip which runs along the top of the bumper.
So I decided to safe cut it, why? dunno lol. It's obviously taken the top layer off and now the section of the bump...
How long was the s**t sitting there for mate? horrible stuff the second they drop there bombs over my car I get it off won't even risk it overnight as I had a blue clio before and the previous owner must not have cleaned this massive turd off the back in time and it ate into the laquer you could...
Mate seriously fit them yourself, surely you've changed a wheel before... it's exactly the same as that.
Nothing to do with alignment or tracking whatever. you remove four bolts steelie off alloy on three new bolts and one locking nut on, ten mins per wheel taking it steady.
Cheers mate, explained that great.
I do give my speakers some abuse but my amp should handle them all its running is two fronts rated at 40w RMS the amp is 400w max so I'm guessing 150w RMS - The speakers don't distort either.
My other amp is poweing my sub, and the amp which is doing the...
