Small update, finally got the engine back in the car, fully mounted to the subframe & I'm genuinely impressed with how solidly it's in there :D With the addition of a carbon fibre bonnet, we've managed to get somewhere close to 40kg removed from the front of the car and do something about...

Ok might have missed out a slightly improtant piece of info, I don't actually have any diamonds yet lol :o I've only got plain blank caps that fit my wheels so my 1st thought was to try & find the diamonds on their own

Excuse the bump but google brought me here. The thought has only just occurred to me that my track car wont have sun visors fitted - no roof mounting points & a cage are to blame for that - so was wondering about fitting a sunstrip to sort of counter that but I'm not sure where I stand legally...

Hmmmmmmmm dunno, I've only ever bought well used sets & did my 1st wet day at Oulton recently with them & I was quite impressed, better than I thought they'd be tbh, only had about 3mm tread on them. Admittedly it wasn't wet enough for there to be any standing water anywhere but I say this more...

R888's are pretty good in the wet as well

Standard fitment on early mk1 valvers & R5's iirc so they can't be illegal ;)
