Cant be sure if they will write it off without knowing what it's worth, But even if it's worth as much as 3k that will be borderline. Bumper, wing, bonnet, headlamp and whatever else is bent behind it plus paint and labour.
I like this, makes reading way faster skipping the spaces. You used a full stop though which disappointed me a little.
Stanced cars are fine if you like that kind of thing. My golf sits as if gravity it trying to pull it through the ground, the wheels poke out the arches and the tyres tuck...
I've just realised the tank probably has a separate breather to let air in. Yeah I think as long as its secure just tucking it out the way should be alright. I was thinking about trying to get it back up toward the filler neck area.
Did you remove the solenoid bit altogether gaz? I read...
Hi All
I've finally got around to getting my 172 ready to go back on the road/track days. I pulled out the carbon canister to make room for brake ducts and got thinking that it would probably be a good idea to use some sort of fuel vent to let these fumes out. So I searched the forum and it...
If I am very careful and using super unleaded I get 33 mpg in the 197 in the 172 I can manage that without trying. The 197 likes a drink. It is however a way nicer place to sit and it grips more and stops way better. Parts and general wear costs are far more too. If I were only allowed 1 clio I...
I insure my 197 and my 172 for under £500 (for both) I'm 34 so is the missus but we've no points You're quote seems about right I can't imagine paying much more for insurance. Being old has it's perks.
Probably something to do with the sensor, have they ever worked? They're pretty rubbish anyway, I wouldn't bother spending much time/money sorting them.
It's not a proper synthetic, use the search function or google for the difference between ester synthetic and cracked synthetic. I've run this stuff before, its cheaper from a large car parts Chain. Wouldn't run it in the clio normally but I'm using it just now to flush the junk out before my...
Was yours going by your profile pic, defo getting my wheels done in anthracite for my flamer now. I was in a red 197 which is looking a bit neglected at the minute.
In fairness my v5 says I've got an exclusive too. If you don't know clios then you wouldn't question it. The car looks pumps though and I bet it drives rubbish too.
I've got one, although the spec is lower than my laptop the mac is the only machine that gets used now. I've had it for nearly 2 years and it still looks and operates like new. It gets used a lot. I bought mine when I was a student so got a cracking discount, see if you can find a student and...
Hi everyone, I’ve just bought a phase 2 172 as a daily driver/track toy so that I can keep my weekend car nice when I eventually buy it. I’m loving the clio so far I’ve had a lot of quicker cars over recent years (Subarus etc) but the way the clio drives is just awesome by comparison. It reminds...
