Yeah - as Matt says, it connect via four bolts to the subframe. Just a little elevation is enough for you to reach under and have access to all four bolt points - the front two being the easiest. I've got some small plastic shallow ramps - which only lifts the car by about two inches off the...
The centre one is just to the right of the mounting bulkhead for the wiper mechanism. I've got a clear plastic tube in this image leading down into it.
The left side looking towards the windscreen is the one I'm least familiar with. It looks a fair bit different to mine there? Easiest way to test is to get a bottle of water and pour some in - it should piss out behind your driver's side front wheel.
The centre hole is roughly where that first...
At first - I did think it was the external bracket for a CD changer to fit into. But there's no clips or mountings anywhere on it - so it must just be a kind of retainer to put stuff into.
Seems a bit of a waste tbf - but it's not in the way, so I've left it there.
Passenger under-seat storage thingie bracket thing. Never been removed in nearly 21 years.
Thought I'd give it a once-over whilst hoovering the car at the weekend - only moved it because it was there. :P
Been there - done that. To the point that I bought a 2nd hand wiper mechanism and as I started to remove the one already fitted, it suddenly dawned on me what I had done previously.
Dick.
While the wiper mechanism is out and/or washer bottle - I would further mention to check your drainage holes.
If any of the three get clogged, you can run the risk of water build-up with any excess amount dripping into the front footwells. Easy enough to check that they are clear with little...
What an absolute t**t of a job to put the door cards back on - never again!
Seems like you have to have octopus arms to lift, pull, push and attach the door cards all at the same time - ever conscious that the 'one-time' application of fresh butyl tape is pretty much that.
The passenger side...
Yeah, that is annoying. I wish you had to manually select the jobs rather than it automatically picking one for you. Mine is at that stage where I get the warning saying that effectively its a point of no return and I can't do any side missions after it. Go away! :P
Most of the areas that I thought would need greasing seemed OK - but I'm putting a little on anyway. Not like it can be detrimental, I don't think.
Door cards going back on tomorrow as the weather is supposedly good, other than the crap wind & rain that we've had for the last several days.
It's been surprisingly glitch-free for me, though I have had a few. Cars submerged halfway into the tarmac, yet driving around as normal. And I had one where riding the motorbikes, my hands had completely disappeared. :P
Some of his one-liners are really good :p
Level 56 at the minute, iirc? Virtually a one-man tank now, though I've never really struggled with combat in this game.
Still find some of the abilities great to use. Wiped out a couple of Tyger's in a side mission for Regina. Completed it, walked...
I do - but there are ten values on there and yet all the upgrade does is lazily add a bit of extra damage.
Chuck on 5% damage, 3% cyberware damage, 4% dismemberment damage with the upgrade - or better, add a bit of RNG to it and mash it up a bit. Randomise the upgrade so one might be great at...
A shame that the higher upgrades get less meaningful yet the resources proportionally are quite high.
I mean, circa 10% damage increase on this - but with no other stat changes at all?
Yep, no chance unfortunately. If it's of any consolation - my originals were bubbling from the inside out also and I was worried that the rail of the door that they slotted onto may have started to corrode as well. Not an issue at all - I had the slightest of paint removal - approx 1 to 2mm...
Does seem like a very rational thing to do. See what works and what doesn't.
Besides - Apple devices thankfully don't go anywhere near Android. And for that reason alone, my iPhone could be a dried putrid cowshit with a screen and I'd still prefer it.
Nice - well done.
Still toying with the idea to nab these while I still can. The rear edge of the rubber seems deeper set on the 1*2 version, rather than the standard Mk2 Clio one. Definitely 'sits' better.
Out of interest - could you PM me a copy of that user guide too? Just before I refit...
Prepped the inside of the passenger door for the door card to go back on. Got rid of 95% of the butyl tape residue and reapplied the fresh stuff to the inside of the door card with the protective tape still in place. Wiped it down and added some protective grease on the inside of the spring...
Stuck with the same pistol and sniper rifle ('ol 50) for quite a while now. The latter takes an age to reload, only has 3 rounds to a clip and its impossible to run with it. But with the high crit rating from the maxed out Cool skill-tree, it can take on most things pretty easily.
