On it until nearly 2am on Sunday night - not done that in a long time.
Currently working through the cyber psychos, but have a lot of side missions queued up as well.
So, the very helpful neighbour got the Mk2 Clio rubbers off his scrapper and I gave them a quick scrub over, leaving them out to dry.
They are in a lot better condition than mine, so hopefully will go on well enough. Also bought a aftermarket replacement wing mirror from eBay suspiciously cheap...
Cracking mission last night though - thoroughly enjoyed it. Tried my best at sneaking about and was doing well until I dropped a bollock.
Had to resort to Arnie in Commando tactics to get out of there. Managed it and then tootled off having summoned my motorbike.
I'm on PC, with what should be the best option using a mouse.
Each screen is different, from your skills, character, inventory, cyberware, upgrades, etc. Crafting is meh, some increases in attributes applied by holding down a key others you just click.... the list goes on. I get involved with...
Another night, another 1hr+ put into it from me.
The inventory/character/skills screen is still a complete and utter mess even after the hours I've put into it. But the rest of it is really well thought out.
Is it made worse/more frequent by different inputs? Braking heavily, accelerating, turning, changing gear? Does it does the noise when free-wheeling with the clutch depressed?
Could be a number of possibilities really. Engine or gearbox mounts. Suspension related items.
Nope - just Normal or whatever it defaults to.
Tbf, I did fail that bit a couple of times before it where various enemies come in. Nothing I had was that powerful and the reload times were so slow. I only managed it by hiding behind cover in the far corner.
Oh that thing - nailed it first attempt, honestly! :)
The big advantage was on one of the mezzanine floors, was a HMG that you could dismount and use that. That easily took off 50% of it's health on its own.
Pretty sure that I'm about the same - Level 20/21 and 30hrs in.
I thought there might have a been a definitive crossover to the Phantom Liberty DLC, but started a new mission and ta-da - up popped the PL overlay. It is a little tricky in the bits I've played, but definitely enjoying it so far...
Debating whether or not to bite the bullet and buy both of the window rubber surrounds for the front doors. I know they are knocking on for £200 per side, but I'm more concerned about actually fitting them.
I believe that they have metal sections within them, that can easily be bent or twisted...
Could well have been - I did drive through Rawtenstall this morning. :)
Wasn't going anywhere fast with the M66 issue though. Hopefully the driver of the overturned truck was/is alright?
Two nights back to back where I've been on this for a good hour-and-a-half. No doubt will be tonight as well.
Not completely flawless by any stretch but it's bloody good. The attention to random detail in the background is amazing. Like an NPC and I finishing a conversation and me walking away...
Perfect controls, unlikely. But a sandbox level is one of the easiest things they could implement - in fact, they probably use something very similar in the test branch themselves during development. They just add that to the main menu.
As Clart mentioned - waiting ages for the chance to get...
Rush was by far my favourite mode in BF:BC2 - as you say, getting past the target changes the game up a gear.
Some of my favourite rounds on there was when I spawned on the attacking side and the opposing team put up a really good defence. Trying to work out how to chip away at it, was all part...
Went all Billy Big b****cks against a gang last night and got utterly mullered for my futile attempt. Did better on my 2nd go, but still lost. Reloaded the checkpoint for the 3rd time and they had all disappeared. Soft arses.... :P
I think that recent update on the nVidia drivers has made a...
Strange thing to leave out, that?
Remember BF4 having that sandbox area where you could map with all sorts of kit. Seems like they should be including that once again.
edit - just seen Geddes post about the same thing above.
As per usual - I'll probably get this, when v14.6588 comes out some 38 months down the line.
The game will be super stable by then. I'll have approximately 116 unlocks to 'unlock' and the game servers will be empty. All bar the one map that's about as big a someone's back yard with 128 players...
Game lets unbound controls be ignored at the start.
Game then expects unbound control to be pressed, but can't because they are unbound.
Game doesn't allow Esc to be pressed and get back to the Settings to configure unbound keys.
Game has to be closed after Alt+Tab.
Game is daft.... ;)

It's a trade off mate.
The way I look at it, is that I've not had any form of car finance for well over 16 years. And while I don't bank what I would spend on finance as such, I do set aside a couple of hundred each month into what is effectively the 'Clio fund'.
So, when big hitters like...
Coming along nicely. ☺️
Seems that the tin worm wasn't that bad underneath the skin on the nearside rear. Up near the front jacking point however, that was another story....
Interesting that. I don't actually mind BF2042 tbh - but I don't really go online much with FPS's anymore - the outright childish toxicity is as boring as it is pointless.
For me, the absolute worst online BF from a playability perspective however was BF1. I was late to the party for BFV online...
