Contis are a great tyre
195/50/15 are cheap as well
Go with the conti 1's not the later more expensive 2's as they can melt under track use and I don't like the grip and handling as much.
You need to get the car on the flat and level then when you open the bonnet look down the front of the gearbox for a small butterfly nut facing forwards from the gearbox. Remove it and fill in the hole with oil. If oil comes out then the box is full. Unfortunatly this means you need to buy some...
If you want something nice your high risk so you have to pay for it.
Don't buy it unless you can afford it stock 1.2 is a nice car why does it need to have bodykit etc on it to be nice?
I'm not that impressed with much of the VX stuff . Noone IMO realy needs a dashboard telling them there lights don't work. Plus i just more things to go wrong.
Check the coolent pipes to the matric in the cabin are getting hot.
The problem i get is the teeth or motors which adjust the airflow are damaged or worn. I'd hope notthough as there a pain to chnagain dash off again.
Whats wrong with you you should ask yourself. Youyr a massive high risk there charging you that much snce there such a high chance you'll crash again statistically.
Nope I'm meaning to write one but its quite simple.
Get a oneperson Gunson eazy bleed kit from Halford etc for £17 or so and follow the instructions.
You just fill it with fluid and attched it to both the fluid reservoir and a car tyre with max 12psi in (I've got a load of spare wheels so...
Stock disks (£50~60 from Halfords or other parts places) and stock FDB 845 pads (£17.99 at Halfords) and bleed the brake fluid with some decinet dot 4 stuff.
Thats more than enough.
All of them.
Unless you like having to pay £50k + of in damages after your insurance company refuse to pay.
(this has happnened before now when someoe edidn't declare ther mods and crashed into an M5 insurance paid then took the owner to court and owener had to pay insurance back the £50k+...
Good dealerships yep would. But quite a lot on here don't use them and I feell a warning should be given I can otherwsie expect a thread one day to say just what I have done and they'll say noone warned them.
Because you ned to check more parts than just that. Many Renault none trade dealerships don't check them and since if something failed which you could easily argue as part of the service should be checked ie ball joints then Renault would refuse to pay for any damage since if a correct service...
Ktec used a Mexican turbo kit but changed loads of the bits I don't think anyones in a position to say them of BB have no engineering credentions.
A for the way to big power its expensive and its the other bit ie clutch and gearbox which fail.
Yes
Think about it like this Renault spent a fortune and due to the massive numbers they make parts in could make high quality part cheap shock are about £50 wheras replacment shock made in small number for aftermarkets companines are £40 just think the quality and design that goes into it and...
Why do you need the switch lit up it isn't lit up though? Just remember which was to turn it shouldn't ever need to look at it.
There no warning if you've left your keys in the car after all whats the risk?
There a warning light on the dash for low fluid level
Indicator failure is shown...
They will.
You'd be suprised how storng they are.
The issue is the fact the rear seatbelt mount is to low and will causer serious back injourioes and is infact illegal if your car were to be SVA approved. (if it were to be newly checked out)
I don't rate either very highly its a cheap kit.
IMO chnage to a more expensive setup ie coilovers or Bilstein then again I don't rate them superbly there just the best none OE shocks you can buy In my experiance.
You'll hear the difference and if your old filters realy dirty you'll get a tiny HP change but compaired to new filter you won't see any difference realy.
Re: 172 rear axle
Nope just swop it over.
You did use rear axle with Abs sensors didn't you?
Check the amount of teeth on the ABS rings are the same on both the disk rear axle and compair that to the amout of teeth on the old rear beam.
