Insurance depends on the company. Liverpool Victoria charge very little others wont cover it.
Its about £1.4k for a 16V engine to be dropped in all inclusive
Do a search BenR explained it all a few weeks ago.
Higher ROn fuel means less knockin so the timing can be adjusted and compression ratio increased so more power.
The 172/182 were designed for 97+ RON plus the extra cleaners in optimtax etc are better for the engine so Id sue them rather...
Yep its comming out.
When depends on how the normal model sells.
It might not be known as the cup though mods will be handling and power wise. Although brakes are likely to be uprated
The engine has the awquard idle due to emmisions regs.
No other reason its Euro 4 or 5 emmisions laws means it has to be like that.
Bed it in hard though will make more power but you need to do it with 20 miles from new realy.
Renault can only invaildate the warenty if they can prove the mod was responsible.
What type of Clio is it? 22k+ is good for pads but depends how you drive.
Do you mean when your setting of hard the engine sounds like its moving round?
If so its the engine hitting the subrfame nothing you can realy do there are stronger mounts availiable and you can try and see what in the way of the engine movement but thats it.
To be honest so long as there not absolutly terriable as dealerships they will cover and warently work.
You could argue the extra diameter and weight causes problem but since you could take the wheel of and swop them and go to another garge and theyd do it I woudnt have thought one garge who...
The throttle body for the 1.2 is hidden upside down facing backwards behind the manifold.
The picture should make it clear. The red thing is the T/B but its behind the manifold.

There not usually proper Xenon lights though. Proper Xenon need started packs for the 20000 V or so they need to kick them into operation.
The ones you see for sale are look alike probably better than stock ones though just not true Xenons.
If your not going to use the car for a bit superglug the ball in place.
Just remember to disconnect the water supply for a while as superglug doesnt dry well with water.
There is no Hawnes manual ATM for the 172. Its very easy though same as the front but you need to screw the piston back in.
If anyone wants the PDF how to do it PM me your email address.

There the Powerflow dealers in Essex have a lookhttp://www.powerflow.uk.com/dealers.asp# here for more they wont remove the cat I dont think though but least you...
I wouldnt personally its not going to be a massive change and for the cost its not worth it you could get coilover and some engine mods for less and be quicker than a 182.
A 182 against a 172 will be worth about £1k more in a couple of yrs so youll be loosing a fair amount to change but it all...
No idea soory be best getting a custom one made maybe from powerflow who make one exactly as you like ie twin exhausts noisy etc. Only slightly more than an of the shelf type would be. You can fit motorbike cams to it if you like the noise of them.
At that sort of price Id see about buying a new car with another yrs insurance. Least you wouldnt need to pay road fund licence or service it for 18K.
PM you with a discount code for LV
Err I think your getting your dials mixed up the one on the dash is coolent temperature the only way to check the amount of oil is when you start the car is to press the computer button in.
The coolent temp increases from the bottom (it coldest) to about the middle when driving round. The...
To change the fade you press the left hand side of a 4 way button dont you well press the top part instead wait a few seconds and youll enter another menue where you can turn the rear speakers on and off.
I think thats the buttons it you pressed the top to change fade then press the other...
There is stuff out for the 1.4 but not much
You can supercharge it for £6k I think the price worked out to be for 160hp.
Ohter mods inculde 1.6 tranplant or least but the other bits you need.
T/b for ~£3.5k
Or normal tunning ie head work cams etc is about £2.5 for about 150hp.
How about a prize for most economical 1/4miles I think Ive got a chance there.
Its a good idea but even afterwards youd get people saying well mine quicker or someone couldnt drive or for a rolling start Id win or wait till the twisties.
485 from my last tank still had another 200 miles to go but got worried with the fuel gauge that low.
I think thats about the best Ive never realy tried (got bored to easily) but 800 is easily possible.
I dont drive easy either. The hot weather increases the mpg considerably.
