He does Reanult sport's for a living? Didn't think so.
Take the time to read what people are saying, most people on here only take their car to a Renault Sport specialist to have the belts done as they are notoriously done wrong.
There are specialist locking tools, only for the 2.0 clio that...
I've answered this so many times its unreal really should do a guide....
Trying to wire it into the stalk is a right pain, as you're stalk only has rear fog on it, not front and rear.
Personally I hard wired them in, i.e battery>fuse>switch>fog and then earth the fog on any earth point in the...
How odd, I had my old stainless twin pipe exhaust around 5mm below my old mk2 ph1 bumper and it never did any harm, I was aware the backbox got THAT hot.
I'm going outside to check mine now though... lol!!!
Cracking pics Rob, wish mine was clean so I didn't have to hide it and you could have taken some shots to make it look pretty. lol!
I do love this car, still need that passenger ride Danny, if you ever stop cleaning it ;)
Sounds like your technique could use a little work, but once you've got the first stubborn lot off, and sealed the wheels, it should no longer be a problem....
Personally if they were really quite dirty I would have:
Sponged off with warm water and fairy liquid (kills grease quite well)
Rinsed...
Taken the caliper apart to make sure everything is moving freely?
I had a siezed slider on mine and the brake was not retracting, so sticking on a bit, you could be the other way around, sticking, but off.
Well it still doesn't look too bad mate, at least the damage isn't glaringly obvious.
Monday evening I'm about, but unfortunately, 8-5 week days is a killer and is not quite the student life I'm used to. lol!
Looks really good Ad, I really need to see your car at some point!!
Wheels really suit it nicely, only thing I will say is with those tyres, scratching the alloys is so easy (I speak from experience), next time you may want to go for the 205's! :)
As much as I understand the "not a proper project" attitude, its nice to look through how other people have delveloped their car's and it's a good place to get inspiration, especially for new members etc.
I think a simple split with "projects" and "progress diaries" or something would do the...
Looks really good mate, better pics are needed though tbh.
I want to come have a poke around, but I'll have to wait until Steve gets this driveshaft to me, snore....
Car went into Orpington today for bonnet catch :D
Re: 3 Months of Trophy.. Progress thread.
This is superb, great choice of mods on a lovely car in the first place. By no means ruined in anyway, just upgraded IMO.
Is your right hand light too high? Or just the way you too the photos? Could need adjusting.
Looks bloody wicked with the xenons. Very nice standard example, a bit lower and it'd look epic!
Can't see why it would.
When I bought my car I told the guy at Sky Insurance what I planned to do to the car when I got it home and had some time to sort it it, he put them on the policy for when it started.
Cheers Danny, carphonewarehouse = useless (not that I didn't know that already)
Every single phone contact seems to have gone up in price, no good deals about atm, sack :(
Not at all mate, I only know Mike, so its not like you'll be an outside in a big group of friends. Vickyx knows more about where to pitch as she did it before.
