Alpine is a good start tbh mate, very, very good units, pretty much up from £150 see's you with a nice one, its pretty much a case of picking the features you want and going for it, IMO.

Two techs said to me when I had the shaft done (I asked them to do this work, before checking anything as I was sure the shaft was the issue): "There was still some knocking coming from the bay, and they checked the two mounts that were easy to see, (dog bone and mount to left of bay) but...

I had the same problem once upon a time, it turned out being upside down did no good for the hardware, so return to the correct side of the world and all will be fine. ;) I joke, but seriously I did have this problem once, turned out I needed a certain HD codec pack, without it my computer...

No movement in the mount on the left of the engine bay, thats TAF. The one under the battery, I'll have to check/change at the weekend. Any more suggestions chaps???

I'm guessing that's the one you can see? I'll go out and check it now. (I'm not sure what side the GB side is tbh) Although... The only one that hasn't been checked is the one under the battery (upper GB mount) as when it was in having the drive shaft done and on the ramp, they checked the dog...

Ok, so the whole driveshaft/brake area of this car is starting to drive me nuts: Anyways, I now have a single clunk under light/medium braking, seemingly only a low speeds? Any idea what this could be? Just seems to happen when coming to a stop in traffic or and such like. Had a new driveshaft...

But often you can only sit as far away as the room allows etc... especially for a bedroom. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the same amount of pixels, across a bigger area, equals bigger pixels? Which equals less crisp image?

Doubtful, can be hard wired though mate. If you use the advanced search function and search "fogs" or "fog lights" and then my posts by me, you'll find quite a lot of information about it for your model of car. Hope that helps.

Right, to clear a few things up: When I had mine changed, I was very precise on the phone about what I wanted, and they listened carefully to make sure they got the right one. They won't just go for some cheap thing, because at the end of the day its your insurance who fork out for it. Also...
