Depends how you drive really, i've never lost grip on a dry day or felt that their dry performance was below par, and I like a spirited drive most days, the kind of abuse a track day will subject them to isn't really going to be replicated on the road, unless you drive like a tit. They're road...

Welcome fellow West Midlander. £2k will easily get you a decent 172, just make sure the belts have been done within the last year or two, and look through all the history to make sure there's receipts to back up any work done.

Same for me, I really love that car, have done for a few years now since I saw it at Trax in 2010, so much time effort and money gone in to it. Not to mention the fact it's an absolute weapon! :evil: Lovely lady aswell, to talk to and to look at. :o
