the cop actually has to be firing the gun at u for it to go off. Basically, if it gives u a warning for one of the speed guns, youve been caught! so basially, it only warns when you have actually been targeted/shot by the cop! Dan.

if insurance and money isnt a problem, then go for the 1.6 cos its better, but only by a small bit. Ill give u and example, i had a pop with a 1.6 a few months back, and i beat it in my 1.4. It must have been cos i was a better driver runnin on optimax or sommet, but it proves how little...

my opinion is that the difference between the 1.4 and the 1.6 is very small. Ive driven both (own a 1.4) and am more than happy with the speed and acceleration. I looked into getting a 1.6 but the difference on the insurance wasnt worth the extra. There was no great noticeable difference...

Right, i have a choice... do i keep my current car (Mk2 1.4 16v "Rx4") and mod it with a few things like Suspension, skirts, IK, Zaust etc (already has new wheels)...... OR..... shall i get a Mk1 172 in January when my insurance is due for renewal. Money isnt an issue really, i could afford...

Im ringin round to get insurance quotes on a 172 which i will be buying in the next few months.... but i want to mod it slightly (suspension, IK, Wheels etc).... so which companies are mod happy? Cheers, Dan.

wow, i was expecting it to be like £500. the feature i want the most is the proximity alarm. I want it to scare people when they stand too close, and if they stay close to the car there then i want it to go off. The reason for this is because i work in a not too safe area with a rough...
