I've just bought DBA disc's for mine with bell and rota up front.
I've ditched the Performance friction pads as they where rubbish so that was £200 wasted.
I have replaced them with Project MU HC800 which get great reviews.
It won't if it's low on gas mate, there is a pressure switch and if that doesn't detect the gas pressure then it won't allow the pump to run.
But in saying that you've just had the system gased.
I was about to say that the rubber buffers are missing, it is common that they get knocked off when washing or drying in that area.
You can not buy them on there own unfortunately, but a complete plastic filler is very cheap from Renault, about £15 or so I think
