It's possible to convert a car to operate a simulator, if I had a few grand spare I'd do it myself, but the main expense is the screens.
if you want real G force though you can add another 30-40k to that.

The positive wire is run from the existing H4 connector, as is the positive for the high beam, and they share a neutral wire.
Can you show a pic of how you have it wired at the moment? Both sides.
Shouldn't be too much of a problem, as long as the cords aren't exposed.

Ed, where is the slit? If it's in the rim protector and isn't too big you can just stick it down with black silicone.
Someone pulling out in front of me, doing half my speed. Hit the brakes, back wheels locked and that was it.
