Exactly, steel wheels look like it's a company van, or a rental, whereas the 1*2 wheels give it away a bit. :)

There's a plug, they probably just haven't plugged it back in. Dimness could be a bulb out, dash top off job to change them though.

Often on boats they have auto ones like this: The little glass tube smashes with the heat, releasing the foam/water/etc

Standard stereo I presume? The display may have come unplugged, you'll have to take the stereo out and plug it back in.
